Just a Peek!

My big Garage Sale is this Friday and Saturday.  Here's just a peek at something special I'll have in it.
With Stampin' Up! moving away from the Craft Ink Pads, I decided I didn't need 2 ink pad holders anymore.  Sooooo, this beautiful baby will go live in a new home... accessories not included.  I have 1 more box of 'stuff' to mark and then I can spend the rest of the day in my studio, getting ready for my Open House/Catalog Party this Sunday afternoon.  I broke down and bought a new camera today, but have to wait for it to finish charging before I can try it out.  I'm not even sure if it's charging just now.  I just have to wait and see.
Check back soon for more sneak peeks at fun things coming your way!

Happy Memorial Day!

Here's a card I was inspired to make after listening to a patriotic concert last night while I was working in my studio.
I used cherry cobbler, whisper white and one of the new In Colors - midnight muse.

My husband and I each lost an uncle in the war and I know many others have someone who has served, is serving or was lost while defending our country.  Thank you to my husband, my son, my son-in-law (and his father and brothers), my father-in-law and to my uncles who all served our country to protect our freedom.  We remember.

Poor Baby

I'm home with a sick Toby Joe today.  We'll be making a trip to the vet this afternoon.  Nothing like needing help on a holiday weekend.  Keep us in your thoughts.
I was busy all yesterday afternoon and evening making favors and other goodies for my upcoming Open House/Catalog Party.  It's next Sunday afternoon and I hope you can join us for all the fun.  I'll share some sneak peeks this week!

Can You Believe It? More Layouts, Part 4

Before we start today, just a reminder:
Check back each day this next week for sneak peeks and lots of details about my upcoming Garage Sale, Open House Party and Product Bundles I'll have available.  You won't want to miss a thing!!!

Now, here we go with more layouts.  I've been a scrapping fool and love it!!!  Actually, I have 3 layouts to share with you today and these all happen to have been designed by my daughter.
She designed this first layout with Summer Smooches products.  I love when she comes to visit and plays with my stash because she always makes stuff for me, too.  I cannot begin to tell you the fun we share through stamping and scrapping.  You can go to her blog and see what she did with hers to finish it.

It's all the attention to detail that makes a good layout become a great layout.  I love all these colors together.
...and here's another layout ...  This one is a tribute to Pear Pizzazz, soon to retire.
... and one more, with Sweet Shop DSP.
My daughter created these layouts for me while she was here visiting recently.  I wish I had a better photo of each one.  At least, you can get the idea.  I need a new camera!  As always, artwork is truly better IRL.
I hope you enjoyed all the scrapbooking ideas I've shared recently and have gotten some inspiration for your own layouts.  Now go get busy on your scrapping!

Now, here we go with more scrapping!  I guess I'd better dig out some photos soon to add to all my pages.
This layout was designed by my daughter.  I just love it.  There are a lot of little details that just make it perfect.

Notice the background?  The entire 12 X 12" sheets are scored with the diagonal scoring plate on our Simply Scored tool.  It adds so much to your project to be able to do something like this.  The DSP is from Beyond the Garden.

...and here is another favorite:
I made this layout using the Summer Smooches DSP.  It really looks like summer!

So... you should be inspired by now to get scrapping!  Enjoy!

Scrapbooking Fun

I've been busy all day in my studio and just realized I hadn't posted anything yet today.  With May being National Scrapbooking Month, I thought I'd share some of the projects with you from my recent Scrapfest Extravaganza.  We really had a great time and everyone got a lot of scrapbooking done.  Here are some of my scrappers, hard at work (or play).

They were working on paper bag scrapbooks.  We also made mini albums and lots of layouts.  Over the next several posts, I'll be sharing some of the layouts with you.  Don't forget to check out my class schedules for my next classes.  Also, remember that the current catalog retires on May 31, so be sure to order soon if there's something you want before it retires.  You can order online from my website or contact me for help with placing an order.
