The Jellybean Prayer

Here's an idea you might like to make up now for your family, for Easter.  My daughter recently asked me to make up jellybean treat bags with this prayer on them.  They're for all the kids at church this Easter Sunday.  It will be included in a bag of goodies for each child.  I can't wait to see their faces when they see what they get in their bags.  I made a LOT of them:)  This is yet one more way I can share my creativity with others.  Projects like this one are what it's all about for me.  I love to create and love it most when I can share it with someone.

FYI, the jellybean colors in each bag of jelly beans that you buy are NOT equal.  The biggest number was red, followed closely by black.  The fewest were pink and then green.  Interesting.  I always thought the red ones and the black ones were the best, anyway:)  I put 2 of each color of jellybean in each treat bag.

Here's the prayer, if you'd like to use it for your treat bags.

A handful of jellybeans... simple, colorful, and sweet
Reminds us of the reasons Jesus makes our life complete!

Red is for the blood He gave.
Green is for the grass He made.
Black is for the sins we made.
White is for the grace He gave.
Purple is for His hour of sorrow.
Pink is for our new tomorrow.
Yellow is for the sun so bright.
Orange is for the edge of night.

There's just something about a butterfly

Do you remember this butterfly card?

... and this one?
These were two of my most popular cards from some of my past card classes.  There is just something about a butterfly that is just fun and beautiful, all at the same time.

Yesterday, I shared with you all the scoop on our wonderful new Envelope Punch Board.  Today, I want to share some good news with you.  It's all about butterflies.  Check this out!
This card is loaded with butterflies and fun.  Wouldn't it be nice to have a special bundle promotion for them?  OK, we do!

I also want to remind you that we have a new photopolymer stamp set out and new single stamps available, too.  I don't want you to miss a thing.
I think this is one of the best photopolymer sets we've had yet.  And look at our new single stamps.  They're all for Christmas!!!

... and don't forget about our new Envelope Punch Board:

... and a Shelli update:
As always, she amazes us.  I knew her recovery would be nothing short of amazing because she is so strong and courageous.  I'm sure she has many rough days ahead of her.  Yesterday, she had a good day and we are thankful for that.  Please keep her in your prayers as she continues to work toward healing.  She and Kadie, her sweet horse are both doing much better.

Butterflies and Punches: Sneak Peek!

I've been playing with punches again!  Here's a sneak peek at one of the cards for my next Friday 3-4-5 Card Buffet (Oct. 5).  I used punches to make it quick and easy:
Here's how the Card Buffet works:
  • You pay $5.00 (at least 2 days prior to the class) to hold your spot.
  • When you get here (6:00), you choose from at least 9 card designs.
  • You make 3, 6, or 9 cards for $5.00, $10.00, or $15.00. (fees for additional cards paid during class, if you decide to stay and make more than the 3 cards.)
  • These cards are designed to be quick and simple, so you're home early to enjoy some family time to start off your weekend.
I hope you'll decide to join us.  Remember, your payment holds your spot.
