Look What I Bought!

The boys and I were out on some errands yesterday and we stopped at the Wildflour.  They love looking around the Root Cellar (Amazing, isn't it?) and then going to the bakery for a treat.  I had seen 2 darling cups on FB and hoped they still had them.  I was in luck!  They are now in my studio, holding buttons.  They may or may not stay there, because I do like to move things around often, to give a fresh look.  These are just so cute and fun!  I like to include fun and unique items, such as these cups, in my studio decor.  They are useful and help to keep my studio a happy place that will inspire creativity.
Did I mention how much I like buttons?  These are just a few I have right now --- for real.

It's All About The Jar, Part 2

I have loved buttons ever since I was a tiny girl and my mom let me play with her button box.  I think she started something, for sure, because I surely must have thousands of buttons by now.  I have them displayed in all kinds of jars which add to the fun decor in my studio, as well as keep them handy when I need to add some buttons to a project.  Here's my biggest jar:

Anyone need a button?

Stuffed Bunnies to Make You Smile

It's bunny time!  I made these bunnies for my Prairie Treasures Booth (Root Cellar at the Wildflour).  I was inspired by some treat holders I saw on Pinterest and made my own version --- as stuffed bunnies.  I really enjoyed making them.  The boys liked them so much that now they want me to make one for each of them.  I might have to start hiding my projects from them.

I used our buttons and ribbons to 'embellish' my bunnies.
I used some of our Twitterpated fabric to line the basket.
The bunnies are made from felt and stuffed with a very soft fiber fill stuffing.
I really wanted to keep them all, but thought they might like a good home with a special someone.  This basket is actually an old one that I've had around since I was a little girl.  I think it was possibly one of my old Easter baskets.
