Friday 3-4-5 Sneak Peek

Here's a sneak peek at 2 of the cards we'll be making this Friday night.  I still have space, so contact me ASAP if you'd like to reserve a spot for the class.  We'll be making sets of 3, 6 or 9 cards and the fee is $5., $10., or $15.  I will have approximately 10 choices of cards, so you're sure to find something you'd love to make.

I've been busy in my studio creating up a storm of new projects this week.  I've also been working on a couple of new ideas for two additional classes.  Check back soon for the details.

More Smooches, Please!

Here is another card I made with the Summer Smooches products.  I love the bold, vivid colors!  They are perfect for this time of year.  The card base if the gorgeous Lucky Limeade.

This card features a fabric covered brad (available in April only!!!) as an over-sized flower in the vase.  I thought it added a touch of drama and humor, because of its size.
I used markers (color, huff, stamp) to stamp the vase, stem and leaves.  The Island Indigo ribbon adds a nice touch to the card over the vivid DSP.  The Lucky Limeade ribbons are tied onto the Island Indigo ribbon.  It's a fun (and super easy) way to add touches of coordinating colors to your project.  There were no punches or dies used in this card and yet it was fun, quick and simple.

I'm off to create up a storm in my studio today.  I'm still playing 'catch-up' from enjoying a long visit from my boys and then having Olive Jane here Saturday.  Is there anything better than enjoying grandchildren?  Yes, actually there is!  I'll be sharing in a future post how the boys and I enjoyed some long sessions of together time AND stamping fun.  It's a hoot!

A Project from our Team Meeting + Class Info

Here's another project we made at our Team Meeting:

The gingham check effect is done by inking the stripes embossing folder with a brayer and using  2 colors of ink.  It's easiest to have 2 folders - 1 per ink color - to do this project.
I love this little vase from the Bright Blossoms stamp set!  You can get the stamp set, the Summer Smooches stencil, brads and DSP during the month of April only.  After that, the brads and stencil are gone and you won't see the other products until June!

Don't forget about my Friday 3-4-5 class this Friday, April 20.
It's starting to fill up fast, so be sure to sign up soon!  You can make 3, 6 or 9 cards at '3 cards for $5.'  It's a great way to have a little evening out with your friends and go home with some fun, new cards.  Envelopes are included.  Pay to register by April 19!!!
