NOTE:
I folded all the folds, except for the 'airplane fold' forward and backward, using a bone folder to press every fold. This really helps to create good creases.
- Begin with a 6" square of DSP.
- Fold in half horizontally and vertically.
- Now, you'll have criss-cross fold lines on your square.
- Fold in half diagonally, from corner to corner - both ways.
- Now, you'll have criss-cross fold lines diagonally, as well.
- Now, make an 'airplane fold' at all four corners.
- This is the shape you'll be creating, once you've done all four corners.
- Coax it into a bell shape. Once you've done one, you'll have an easier time of knowing which folds to coax up and which to coax down. Be patient. It works:)
- I'm holding this one closed, so you can see how it comes together. You'll need to glue it into place. Don't forget to add a ribbon so you can hang it up. I cut a piece of ribbon about 6 or 7" long, looped it and tied a knot in the end.
- Add the ribbon loop right before you glue the last section in place.
- Here's what the bottom looks like.

Now you can use them to decorate for Christmas. They look cute as a banner or on a Christmas tree. They would look pretty hanging in a window, too.
