I fussy cut extra pieces for the magnolias and the leaves, so I could layer them and create a lot of depth and texture.
All supplies for these cards are from our Annual Catalog.
The blossoms and leaves are all embossed with Gold EP before cutting and coloring.
TIP:
It's easier to do the coloring before you cut out your pieces. You have more to hold onto to steady your image while coloring.
The colors I used are Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow - a great combination.
COLORING TIPS:
- When using Stampin' Blends, the more you blend, the better.
- Shimmery White CS takes the extra blending better, without breaking down the fibers.
- Be sure to have something under the piece you're coloring, to protect your work surface.
