Sahara Sand Beauty... A Quick and Beautiful Card

Today's card is all about simplistic, elegant beauty.  This is a card that is quick and easy to make and yet it stands out with a simple elegance.

The flowers are heat embossed and then punched out... quick and easy.  They're attached with dimensionals.

I added Delicate Details Lace Tape (retired) to the bottom of the card and then used it as a stencil to sponge a coordinating envelope.

The extra layer on the card always bumps it up a notch, especially when it's attached with dimensionals.

Coastal Cabana

Today, we continue our series on our new colors with Coastal Cabana, a very pretty and very trendy color.

Which color story do you like the best?  As for the images, I love the cute little fish.  These cards are a good example of how varied my tastes are in design --- from fish to beautiful flowers in nature.

A Card to Quack You Up

Continuing with another card using Birds of A Feather DSP, today's card will 'quack' you up a bit.  This would be a cute baby card or just a hello card, if you left off the 'for baby' sentiment.

Notice that I've stamped and colored an image onto the envelope to coordinate with the card. 

I've added a quick layer of elegance by adding a strip of our Delicate Details Lace Tape.  This is really fun (and easy) to use as it is adhesive backed and you can easily position it to where you'd like it to be on your project.

I decided to use two little knotted bows of ribbon to accent my card.  One of the ladies at my class needed a baby card for someone who had just had twins - a boy and a girl - so we used a pink and a blue knotted ribbon on her card.
