A Birthday Note Card and Some Awesome Cards Made by Lynn

Here's a look at another little note card we'll be making at my Friday 3-4-5 Card Buffet Class tomorrow night.  Also, as I do the final prep for my Team Meeting today, I realized that I hadn't shared some of Lynn's cards yet from the last meeting.  She does an awesome job!  The cards are pretty self-explanatory, so take a look.  Enjoy the cards and I'll go finish getting ready for my Team Meeting.

The little dots in the paper reminded me of confetti, so I added some snips of ribbon to look like streamers.

3 for River Rock and 3 More for Fun

At our last Team Meeting, I set out new stamps and assorted colors and we just played with coming up with our own designs.  It was so much fun!!!  Here are 3 cards I made with River Rock and a new set coming out with our Sale-A-Bration.

I also must share with you the cards that Lynn created.  I confess that I started all of mine at the team meeting but needed more time to finish them later.  I did spend a long time working on a butterfly card, but I'll be sharing that in another post.
Lynn actually came up with her designs and finished all her cards during the meeting.  Way to go, Lynn.  My team is kind of spread out, so sometimes I only have 2 or 3 at the meeting.  It's nice though to have a small, casual group where you can just enjoy each other and enjoy stamping together.  Here are Lynn's:

Halloween Fun!

Here's a card we made at my Team Meeting.  If you'd like to be included in the fun of belonging to my team, contact me for exciting details.  You'll be glad you did!

This card was inspired by our Stampin' Success magazine.  A perk of being a demo is that you get a new magazine EACH month!

These are close-ups of some of the details.  The owl is stamped on a separate sheet of CS and punched out with a larger circle, so you can easily attach it behind the scallop circle opening.  The brads are attached to the crumb cake layer before attaching it to the card base.

Tie the hemp around the ribbon to give it that cute pinched look in the middle and then thread it up through the button.  I made a knot but you could also have this be a bow.
The owl is from the Out on A Limb stamp set and the greeting (stamped and embossed with our new pewter EP!!!) is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

Guest Artist!

We had a guest artist at my last Team Meeting -- my daughter.  She and her family were here visiting and she was excited to actually get to attend our meeting.  I had her lead us in one of the projects, with a new technique.  She showed us how to create a flower with a little strip of fabric.  Isn't this just a great card?!!!

We used the stamp sets 'Curly Cute' and 'Raining Flowers' and the CS is Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade and Elegant Eggplant.  It's difficult to see in my photo, but there is paper piercing in the top right-hand corner of the eggplant layer.  You'll also notice a tiny strip of DSP (Flirtatious Specialty) that coordinates perfectly with our fabric --- Flirtatious.  It's so nice to learn new ways to use our gorgeous fabrics.
