A Happy Lemon Card

Life hasn't given me lemons lately, but I made a lemon card anyway.  This one is in Pear Pizzazz and Crushed Curry.
I've sponged our Irresistibly Yours DSP with Pear Pizzazz.  I added a sponged strip to the inside of the card as well and then cut an envelope liner out of it, too.  This is really nicely coordinated.
I added a thin Crushed Curry taffeta ribbon over a white organza ribbon.
I added a punched Crushed Curry scalloped circle behind the crystal button.  For a final touch, I added a 'sprig' of ribbon to the top corner of the focal piece and called it done:)

A Happy Thing Card

I love the cute little bird on this card.  This was made using our A Happy Thing set from our previous SAB goodies.  I also made use of some of our Irresistibly Yours DSP and colored it a happy blue with some simple sponging.
I added a few Gorgeous Grunge speckles and some punched flowers.  I really don't ever put away my Gorgeous Grunge stamp set!
I added a sponged strip of the Irresistibly Yours DSP to the inside of the card and stamped coordinating flowers on the envelope.
If the cute little bird seems 3-dimensional to you, that's because he is.  I cut one out and attached it with dimensionals.  It adds a lot to the card to have the bird really stand out.  Mounting everything on black really has a huge impact.  This card speaks of Spring!

Four Feathers and Lost Lagoon

I think today's card just might be my favorite of all 5 of my In Colors cards.  I've used embossed vellum and embossed CS to create a 'bouquet' of feathers.
The feathers stamps have coordinating framelits, so there's nothing to cut by hand.
Does the lone feather on the inside of the card remind you of Forrest Gump?
