Cajun and Copper - They Make A Perfect Pair ... and My Last Two Fall Cards

I have a couple more Fall cards to share with you today.  They both make good use of Cajun Craze and Copper.
The first card uses the 'Acrylic Block technique' and the second card uses watercoloring to create a beautiful background for the card's elements.  I love them both.

Even though the embossing folder that I used for my second card is called Seaside, I use it to imitate the movement of winds blowing the leaves.
I love, love, love doing watercoloring.  Sometimes, I just create a whole bunch of card-sized pieces when I'm watercoloring and save them for later use in cards.  You can use the entire piece as a background or, as in this card, die cut shapes from it to use as elements for a card.
I'm pretty sure that these two cards are the last of my Fall cards.  In my next post, I'll share a Fall artist canvas I created ... and then ... it's all Christmas.  Yay!

Smooshing and Embossing Paste Card ,,, AND ... a Special Birthday Today!

I love creating original, one-of-a-kind backgrounds.  My three favorite methods are using Brusho (Pigmented Watercolor Crystals), using watercolors (or reinkers as watercolors) and smooshingSmooshing (I may have made up this word:) is done using several colors of ink, directly from the ink pad and lightly sponging on the inks, one at a time, to create a random design of colors.  For this card, I chose shades of blue, green and purple.
Once I've finish the smooshing, I like to spritz the CS a bit, to add a super cool look to the background.  I use either Shimmery White CS or watercolor paper, depending on how much water I plan to add to my project.
Once I was happy with my completed background, I let it dry and then added a bit of stenciling, using embossing paste, to create a brick effect.  I love how this one turned out.  This card is a perfect example of making it up as I go along --- my favorite kind of art.
I added a layer of Basic Black CS behind my beautiful art piece.  This helps to make it really stand out.  I kept the card base white, to tie it all together.
I absolutely love this card.  I'd also love it if you left me a comment and let me know what you think about this card.
Before I go, I want to give a big birthday wish to my sweet little Joey.  He is a big TWO years old today and gives me such joy.

Oh So Eclectic Card in Fresh Fig

I love and adore the stamp set and dies used to create this card.  Here's another card that makes my heart happy.
When you cut the beautiful openings in your card, you can add any color behind it, to completely change the look of your card.
The flower stamps blew me away when I first tried them.  They actually have different depths of color, with a watercolor look --- all with just the one stamp.  I don't know how they did that, but I LOVE it!!!
Even though this card has a lot of details, it was pretty easy to create, thanks to the dies and the beautiful stamps.  You'll be seeing more creations of mine using these wonderful new products because they are amazing.  See you soon!
