Another Fun Sneak Peek Project ... for my Spring Open House Partry

I tried to come up with something a little different (besides my card projects) for another Make and Take project for my Spring Open House Party.  This was a really fun project.
This project starts out as a simple Kraft bag ... add some scoring ... and a little snipping... and you now have a special pocket to insert a card.

For those sending in their RSVP (by March 17) to attend my party, I will have a surprise to add to the pocket of their project!  I love surprises!
You can use this design idea to create a card for most any occasion.
What else could you add to your pocket?

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today, I'll share some projects with you that are all about pretty.  They don't have to be limited to just Valentine's Day.  Think about how, just by changing the sentiment, your card could become a wedding or anniversary card or even a Thinking of You or Thank You card or project.

... and some projects from Stampin' Up!

... and let's wrap up with more of my projects:

So, have a great day and remember to do something special for someone else today --- share the love!

Oh, Hello

For today:  OJ and her new car and another fun Cherry Cobbler card ---

Here's Olive Jane in her car 'Santa' got her for Christmas:
Fresh out of the bath and ready to roll!  I know I'm partial, but isn't she adorable?   She watches Mickey Mouse Club before bed and now she does it sitting in her car --- like she's at a drive-in movie.

And now --- here's another fun Cherry Cobbler card with a new stamp set that I love:
I've used cherry cobbler baker's twine and one of our new buttons.  I embossed the flap on the envelope with our Chevron embossing folder.  The oval stamped shape and the 2 smaller ovals are cut out with our new Ovals Collection framelits.  I did cut out the flower by hand but, for those of you who do not like 'fussy cutting' you could always stamp it directly onto the oval stamped shape.

This is one of the cards we made at our Winter Stamp and Scrap Retreat.  Hope you enjoyed today's card and OJ's car.  Have a good day.

3 for River Rock and 3 More for Fun

At our last Team Meeting, I set out new stamps and assorted colors and we just played with coming up with our own designs.  It was so much fun!!!  Here are 3 cards I made with River Rock and a new set coming out with our Sale-A-Bration.

3 more for fun:
I also must share with you the cards that Lynn created.  I confess that I started all of mine at the team meeting but needed more time to finish them later.  I did spend a long time working on a butterfly card, but I'll be sharing that in another post.
Lynn actually came up with her designs and finished all her cards during the meeting.  Way to go, Lynn.  My team is kind of spread out, so sometimes I only have 2 or 3 at the meeting.  It's nice though to have a small, casual group where you can just enjoy each other and enjoy stamping together.  Here are Lynn's:

Aren't they great?!!!  I would have a difficult time choosing a favorite.
