I know you may be overwhelmed by all the recent changes with SU and all, but stay with me and I'll help you through it all.  First up --- On August 3, a new Sale-A-Bration will begin.  That means for products you order from the regular catalogs, you can qualify for free Sale-A-Bration products.  As if that's not enough, you can soon order from our Holiday Mini Catalog.  If you don't have current catalogs, please contact me to stop by and get yours.  They're free for all my customers!  But wait!  There's more!  We'll be having a Part 2 soon for our Sale-A-Bration.  I'll keep you up to date on all the info you'll need to know. 

Sale-A-Bration Part 2 is coming!

Well this is really exciting. We are getting a 2nd wave of Sale a Bration this year!

In the past, this has been an annual promotion for 3 months at the start of the year, but we have changed it up a bit.

We had a 2 month promotion in January and February, and we have a 2nd wave for August and September!

All the same great perks – free products when you shop, free stamps when you place a larger order, amazing joining offer – but this time, they’re seasonally perfect for Winter and pair perfectly with the new catalogue that launches at the same time.

IMPORTANT UPDATES / A BLUEBERRY BUSHEL CARD

Usually, this is a great time of year, as we look forward to moving into spring weather and fun activities.  Our world has turned into a crazy, scary place where we worry about keeping our loved ones safe and well.  We can easily feel a bit walled off from everything and everyone.  Let's use technology to keep in touch and keep a positive spirit.  I'm posting my updated schedule, although it is all tentative, at this point.  I have cancelled my Paper Pumpkin Club for this next week and April classes are tentative.  I will try my best to keep inspiration coming your way, even though I'm really struggling with the worst cold I've had in my life.  It's not the virus, but it's certainly no fun.

I thought I'd post a bright and springy card for you today, to keep a bit of sunshine in our day.  This was made with some of our Second Release SAB dies.  I've used Blueberry Bushel to keep it bright and cheerful.

I've cut my die cut piece from watercolor paper, for added texture. 

I used Stampin' Blends to color all the flowers and cut extra flowers to add to the inside of my card.  I embossed the CS piece for the envelope flap and also a strip for the inside of my card.  I used a paper piercing tool to lift all the little cut pieces around the circle, for added interest.  It looks a bit involved but was actually pretty easy and a lot of fun.

SAB Meercats Card

Here's a really cute card that's super simple.  It's also very fast, because all 3 of the stamps for my card front were stamped at the same time, using the Stamparatus!  The best part about this card?  All the stamps and the DSP can be earned for free during our Sale-A-Bration!!!

Paper Pumpkin I'll Be Yours: Rococo Rose Card

I've been MIA for a few days.  That's because we went on a bus trip to St. Louis to see RiverDance at the Fox Theater (fabulous!!!) and I did way too many steps and hurt my bad knee.  I've had to keep it elevated all week.  Ugh!  I'm still glad we got to go on the trip and see the show.  It was just wonderful.  The lunch had an Irish theme to it.  If that's the beef brisket and potato dish they eat in Ireland,  I may just have to move there:)

So ... back to stamping ... 

A BLOG PROBLEM:
I don't know why, but my side gadgets have disappeared.  Hand with me while I try to figure it out.  I always list my next classes at the end of each post, so you'll know what's going on.

TODAY'S SHARE:  

Here's a pretty card, in the pink range - but not 'in your face' pink.  
I am enjoying this new color.  It's Rococo Rose.  This card does not have to wait until next Valentine's Day.  You can use it any time.  Hearts are timeless.

The hearts, sequins and stamps are from our Paper Pumpkin kit.  The embossing folder is from Sale-A-Bration.  This one looks neat on both sides of the embossing:)

I popped the embossed layer up on dimensionals.  It really bumps up the 'wow' factor on the card, I think.

Love it!

Kerchief Birthday Card

Here's another birthday card I made using the same products as in my previous post, with a card base from our SAB Kerchief Card Kit.  Love it!  We'll actually be making this one at my March 9 Scraps and Prayers class.  This class is already filling up, with just 6 remaining spots, so don't wait too long to sign up.

Using the die, you can cut out a beautiful birthday cake that is perfect every time.

Sale-A-Bration Premier Event

Kerchief Card Kit ... It's not just for cards.

During Sale-A-Bration (SAB), one of the items you can earn with a $50. purchase is our Kerchief Card Kit.  I recently made up all the cards from one of the kits and they were really quick, fun, and very easy.  That's a great way to get into the new year with stamping.  We'll be making some of these cards at my February 2 Sale-A-Bration Premier Event.  This is a brand new event planned for this year.  Instead of an Open House, I'm planning a class with a built-in party to showcase our SAB Catalog.  You pay to register just like you'd sign up for any class, but the class will have all the perks of a party.  By going this direction, I'll save time and expenses I'd previously used toward planning an Open House and use it to devote to just the customers who actually commit to attending the event.  This means I can pass on the savings to my customers by not raising any of my class fees at this time.  I'm excited to try something new ... and I guarantee it will be fun.  We can also enjoy a little more advanced projects than you can do for Open House Make and Takes.

In the meantime, I wanted to show how you can do more with a card kit than just make cards.  At my January 20 Scraps and Prayers class, we'll be working with creating scenes and designs using a variety of stamps ... but ... I thought we should also start the new year with a calendar.  So, I turned one of my card designs into a calendar.  I love how it turned out!

Every single layer and embellishment you see here comes in the kit, even the twine for the bow!

The design has a built-in easel, so you can stand it up on your desk or dresser ... or wherever you'd like to have it.  It still folds flat, so you can mail it as a gift if you'd like to share it with someone special.

I ordered my calendars from the Taylored Expressions company.  They have a wonderful variety of designs and sizes of calendars.
