I know you may be overwhelmed by all the recent changes with SU and all, but stay with me and I'll help you through it all.  First up --- On August 3, a new Sale-A-Bration will begin.  That means for products you order from the regular catalogs, you can qualify for free Sale-A-Bration products.  As if that's not enough, you can soon order from our Holiday Mini Catalog.  If you don't have current catalogs, please contact me to stop by and get yours.  They're free for all my customers!  But wait!  There's more!  We'll be having a Part 2 soon for our Sale-A-Bration.  I'll keep you up to date on all the info you'll need to know. 

Sale-A-Bration Part 2 is coming!

Well this is really exciting. We are getting a 2nd wave of Sale a Bration this year!

In the past, this has been an annual promotion for 3 months at the start of the year, but we have changed it up a bit.

We had a 2 month promotion in January and February, and we have a 2nd wave for August and September!

All the same great perks – free products when you shop, free stamps when you place a larger order, amazing joining offer – but this time, they’re seasonally perfect for Winter and pair perfectly with the new catalogue that launches at the same time.

Hugs and Prayers Card / SAB Third Release

With everything going on right now, I thought I'd give everyone a card today - via the internet.  My hideous cold is almost gone but my shoulder has me in constant pain.  I can only work on creative projects for a short time each day, as it really hurts my shoulder.  There's not much more I can do about it right now, so I'm trying to stay brave and patient.

IMPORTANT UPDATES / A BLUEBERRY BUSHEL CARD

Usually, this is a great time of year, as we look forward to moving into spring weather and fun activities.  Our world has turned into a crazy, scary place where we worry about keeping our loved ones safe and well.  We can easily feel a bit walled off from everything and everyone.  Let's use technology to keep in touch and keep a positive spirit.  I'm posting my updated schedule, although it is all tentative, at this point.  I have cancelled my Paper Pumpkin Club for this next week and April classes are tentative.  I will try my best to keep inspiration coming your way, even though I'm really struggling with the worst cold I've had in my life.  It's not the virus, but it's certainly no fun.

I thought I'd post a bright and springy card for you today, to keep a bit of sunshine in our day.  This was made with some of our Second Release SAB dies.  I've used Blueberry Bushel to keep it bright and cheerful.

I've cut my die cut piece from watercolor paper, for added texture. 

I used Stampin' Blends to color all the flowers and cut extra flowers to add to the inside of my card.  I embossed the CS piece for the envelope flap and also a strip for the inside of my card.  I used a paper piercing tool to lift all the little cut pieces around the circle, for added interest.  It looks a bit involved but was actually pretty easy and a lot of fun.

Look What's New!

Sorry I've been MIA for a while.  I've had hand surgery and can just now type a little.  It's still painful and I hit a lot of wrong keys, so this will be a shorter post.  We have new Sale-A-Bration (SAB) products available now, so I thought I'd share a few with you, along with some fun ideas you can create using SAB products.

Botanical Butterfly Cards, Design 2

Here are the cards I made using the second design from my 'Class On The Go' kit.  Again, I made 2 cards, one with each side of the DSP.

I love the black and Highland Heather together ... very pretty!

I used a sponge dauber and ink to color a ribbon to match the Highland Heather card.

Isn't this new embossing folder pretty?  I love it!

I love both cards, but I think the one on the left is my favorite.  I love the black and white DSP on this one.

Botanical Butterfly Cards, Design 1

Here is the first design I made using my 'Class on the Go' Kit from our January Scraps and Prayers.  I made 2 versions, one with each side of the DSP sheet.

I love the black and white!  A cool thing about this DSP is that one side of each sheet is in color and the reverse side is black and white.  Love that!

I used several punches on my cards --- quick and easy.

Each kit has an entire 1/4 sheet of embossed black CS, so you can cut it to whatever sizes you'd like to use in your cards.  The patterned butterfly is fussy cut, using one of the butterflies from the DSP.  If you don't want to fussy cut, you can use the coordinating stamp set for the Butterfly Duet punch and just stamp and punch out your butterfly.

2 Kits Are Still Available

Because I've been so behind and all in my usual blog postings and emails (Even my almost new printer quit on me!), I want to make sure everyone realizes that I have 2 remaining kits that are still available from the January 'Class On The Go' Kits.
I have (just now) finished the cards I made with my kit and they will be shown in my next post.  Yay!  I actually made 2 versions of each of the two cards - to show how you can use either side of our double-sided DSP, depending on which you like the best.  Of course, the sky's the limit as to how you finish your cards.
Here are the kits, in case you missed them.  The butterfly DSP is one of the choices from our Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  It's really pretty!

If you'd like one of the remaining kits, just contact me and arrange a time you can pick yours up, take it home and get busy.  Enjoy!

A Cute Little Card

Today's card has no stamping, except for a message on the inside.  It's cute because its focus is on the design in the DSP and the complimentary buttons.

Today's card features buttons from our Sale-A-Bration Ribbons and Buttons Pack.  The DSP is from the Birds of a Feather Designer Series Papers.  This will be one of the cards at my next Friday 3-4-5 Card Buffet and Walk-In Wednesday events.  Each card will be a little unique from all the others because of the positioning of the birds in the DSP design.

I used our new Cloudy Day embossing folder to emboss the flap on the envelope.  You could
certainly add more ideas to make your card unique for you, but I just like the simplicity of this one.
