3" Cuties, Cards 6 and 7

I have two more 3" cuties to share with you today.  These are the last of the bunch.
This one is done with a Sahara Sand card base.  I sponged a few highlights onto the 'brick wall' background, along with a stamped off image at the bottom corner.  It adds a lot of texture to it.
Sadly, this dotted embossing folder is retiring, but I hang onto most of my embossing folders.  When a new catalog comes out, I try my best to purge my stamps, but I have trouble letting go of any of my Big Shot items.  Anyway, most people who are not demonstrators hang onto their products, so I like to show them ways they can still use them and combine them with some of our new products.
I did a major purge of my punches this last week, which is a big deal for me.  I will be having a nice big sale as a part of my Open House/New Catalog Party on June 26.  If you live in the area, you'll want to drop over for the party and enjoy some great deals, some new Make and Take projects, and a ton of fun.

3" Cuties, Cards 2 and 3

I decided to double up on the fun and share 2 cards today.
I've used dry embossing and stamped, cut pieces to add lots of texture.
I love the soft colors.
I also added a bit more texture with some light and delicate sponging.

3" Cuties, Card 1

Get ready for a little journey into my 3" cuties.  These make great gift enclosures.  I'll have several posts to share with you.
I love the way the punched hearts fit inside the embossed hearts.  I attached them with several layered glue dots to give them a little dimension.
I finished off with a little sponging and a touch of bling.

A New Size for My Card

For today's project, I decided to make a different sized card from my usual.  This card is 3 1/2 X 5" and features lots of textures through the stamping.
I love the soft look of this Lost Lagoon/Crumb Cake color story.
Even though the ribbon is Bermuda Bay, it still works with other blues, such as this Lost Lagoon card.

Thankful for the Little Things

I'm thankful today for so many little things... sweet little children and furry babies encouraging me on to continue to regain my strength after being so sick.  I'm thankful that I can now stay up for at least 3 hours before becoming exhausted.  I'm thankful for a dental check-up today with no cavities.  And... I'm thankful for a little stamping.  When I say little, I really mean it.  These little guys were made as a 'just for fun' stamping project ... and they were truly fun.
These little guys are just 2" square.
These would be great for gift enclosure cards.  I didn't make envelopes because I thought I'd slip them inside a wrapped gift, but you could use our Envelope Punch Board and make envelopes to coordinate with them.

My 2016 Calendar Cards

I forgot to order my little Vippies calendars until too late and they were sold out.  When I went looking for another source, I found these adorable little cards made by Talored Expressions.  I love them.  It was nice to go a different direction.  The cards come pre-printed and ready for stamping and embellishing.  I used a variety of stamps, thinlits and framelits to complete my project.
... January, February, March...
... April, May, June...
... July, August, September...
... October, November, December...
I actually made enough of these artist canvas projects (from our February Scraps and Prayers) that I have an entire calendar on display by my desk where I work on my blog.
On the fridge in my studio...
I love how these turned out and will be sure to order sooner next year.
