Pressed Petals Series, Part 3 ... Box Projects

To continue our series, I have some boxes for you today ... 3 from DSP and a decorated copper tin.  I'd love to hear back from you if you'd care to leave a comment.  Enjoy!
First of all...
Here's the DSP that we'll be using for these projects:
... and here are my projects:
2 boxes and a decorated journal cover ...
... and another journal and another box ...   (The Merry Merlot ribbon on the middle box is retired, but I have a stash of it that I'm still enjoying.)
... and lots and lots of cards ...  We'll be taking a closer look at the cards in future posts.
Here's a better look at my third box.
The vellum flower has 10 punched petals and about 3 punched leaves.  (Perennial Essence Vellum CS #149101)
I love this ribbon with my box!  (Braided Linen Trim #147808)  I've used that cute little fuzzy flower center again here.  Love it!
... and here's my copper tin:
The tin has a little fussy cutting, a stamped die cut piece and some of our gorgeous copper ribbon.  I 'fuzzed out' the ends of the ribbon for a little more texture.  What should I put in my box?

I hope you've enjoyed my projects and will come back soon to see all my cards.
Here's the information, if you'd like to order some of these gorgeous papers:

Party Winners and Another Cute Box

I have a really cute box for you today, but first I need to catch up on party news.  I will admit that I honestly just plain forgot to share the winners' names with you.  I will blame it on the excitement of the Color Revamp.  It is pretty exciting!

I'm ready to announce the winners from my Spring Open House Party.  So... let's do that right now!
Question #1:
What is Lana's favorite stamp set from the Occasions Catalog?
Answer:
Petal Palette
Winners:
Alicia, Sheila and Elaine
Question #2:
What is Lana's favorite accessory from the Occasions Catalog?
Answer:
It's actually a tie between Brusho and Stampin' Blends.  2 people chose Stampin' Blends.
Winners:
Alicia and Marsha
Questions #3:
How many paper crafted (non-card) projects did you find?
Answer:
41
Closest answer/winner:
Alicia (53)
Questions #4:
How many hand made cards did you find?
Answer:
96
Closest answer/winner:
Marsha (85)
I also had Toby Joe draw out 3 names for door prizes!
The lucky winners are Brenda, Alicia and Marsha.

Yay to all my lucky winners!!!  Your prizes will be tucked in with your orders.  Everyone got some cute little note card envelopes as an extra thank you for your order.  All the prize winners from the party will find some card stock on with their order.  I tried to pick good prizes that were practical and you can really use at home.

Now, let's check out my cute box.  This one is a bigger one and starts with a 12 X 12" sheet of DSP - just for the lid.  I used a 12 X 12" piece of CS for the base.  I love it!  It's my favorite of all the boxes I've made recently (and I've made a lot:)  Enjoy!

Sweet Soiree Gift Boxes ... With Lids

Are you ready for another fun box ... or two?  This one has a lid and provides the opportunity to create a box and lid with complimentary patterns.  I love it!
The way I tied the ribbon around the lid allows it to be opened without having to untie the ribbon.
Aren't these embellishments cute?  They're from our Sweet Soiree Embellishments Kit.
You can fit 3 Rocher treats in it, all nestled in our Ready Shreddie.  Say that 3 times - fast - and you're set to smile all day.
I love using the CS and coordinating DSP together for this project.  They're so pretty.  To my knowledge, I think this is the first time we've had a DSP that works with Marina Mist.  It's such a pretty shade of blue.
With this DSP and coordinating CS, how could you NOT have a gorgeous little box or two?

One - Sheet Lidded Gift Boxes

I have found, over the last year or so, that I love making boxes and bags.  My favorite boxes to make are inspired by Sam Hammond, AKA Pootles, on her blog (http://pootles.co.uk/) OR another favorite of mine - Julie DiMatteo, on her blog (https://thepaperpixie.com/).  They both have wonderful projects, wonderful blog posts, and wonderful, easy to follow video instructions.  My favorite boxes to make start with cutting and scoring, not even using the punch board.  Over the next few posts, I'll be sharing a few of my box creations with you.  I hope you'll be inspired to try a few.
I just love that these boxes each started out from a 12 X 12" piece of DSP.  I used the fancy side of the DSP to make my boxes as pretty as could be.
I used bits of our fun Ready Shreddie, popped a few treats nestled in it, closed the box and tied it with a pretty ribbon.
By using some embellishments from our Sweet Soiree Embellishments Kit, this was really a pretty quick project - and actually quite easy.
Aren't these embellishments cute?
These are some of the largest boxes I've made.  They hold a surprising amount of goodies.
I hope you enjoyed these boxes and will come back to see some smaller ones that are cute as can be.
