Mossy Meadow Thoughts and Prayers

Before I share today's card with you, I just want to say that our Scraps and Prayers group had a wonderful time last night.  What a great group of ladies.  Everyone did a super job on the project and I'm already looking forward to next month's patriotic layout project.

Now, for today's card:  Using our Thoughts and Prayers stamp set and a bit of sponging, I created a beautiful window card.  With this card, it's all the added little details that bump it up a notch.
I used our new Baked Brown Sugar Baker's twine for the card.  It's extra thick and gorgeous.  For the button, the Baker's Twine was too think to go through the holes, so I tied a knot and attached it with Liquid Tombow.  I frayed the ends of the twine and love the look!  Can you see some gold accents?  That's done with our Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.  I love that set because you can do so much with it!
I used one of our oval framelits to cut the window in the front of the card.
I sponged Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist and Mossy Meadow onto the white CS, stamped my image with black StazOn ink, and attached it to the inside of the card.
It was a challenge photographing this card because the wind picked up and I nearly lost it twice as it started to sail over the railing and into the bushes.  Yikes!

Tokens and Incentives

I've noticed that I've been having a problem... a silly little problem... a lot of the time.  The problem is that my customers kept forgetting to place their name into the jar for our monthly drawing.  I tried to remember to add their name when they forgot, but it didn't always happen.

I thought about it and decided that maybe it was too confusing... enter different number of times for different categories, etc.  I put on my thinking cap and have come up with a way to keep things simple.  When it comes to stamping and paper crafting fun, everything should always be simple and always fun.

So... for now, I'm doing away with the jar for our monthly drawing.  You will still get incentives... new incentives.  Here's how it will work:

Class Chip Tokens
Every time you come to a class, I will give you a token.  You keep them and when you collect 10, you get a free class!!!  It's that simple.  Just don't lose your tokens!!!

Stampin' Tokens
I'll still have my Stampin' Tokens program.  Whenever you place an order of $50. or more (before tax and shipping) you will earn a token.
Keep it in your little money bag that I gave you.  When you collect 10 Stampin' Tokens, you get to choose a free stamp set!  Again, it's that simple.  And once again, just don't lose your Stampin' Tokens!
The Stampin' Tokens Program has already been in place for a while.  The Class Chip Tokens Program is effective since June 1, 2014.

Now, all we have to do is think of a new job for Toby Joe, since he won't need to choose a monthly winner.

So...... now start earning your chips and tokens.    Good luck!!!

Embellished Clothespins

My post today is all about clothespins.  They are very handy and I use them a lot, kind of like I'd use binder clips or larger paper clips.  These are just more fun.  They need to look pretty, though, because that bumps up the fun a notch.
I've used our new DSP called Lullaby for the clothespins and the tag and then I sponged around the tag.  I used our Petite Petals punch and the flower from our Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack for extra embellishments  I used Crystal Effects to attach the DSP.  After it dried, I added a protective coat over the top of the clothespins, to protect the papers.
Using white Baker's Twine, I made a little tassel for the tab.  Put this all in a little cello bag, add a cute little tag and ribbon with it and you've got a wonderful little gift for a special someone.
