Cute Tags ... made with Project Life Materials

Today, I have some cute little tags to share with you.  I made them using Project Life materials.  Our Scallop Tag Topper punch makes it quick and easy to turn a 2" strip into a tag!
They started out as Project Life cards (from our Everyday Adventure kit) and then you trim an inch off the long side.  Save the scrap, cut it in half, and you can decorate the lower edge of 2 tags.  Because they're double-sided, you can get a nice variety going.

Here they are before I decorated them.  I used a little piece of ribbon in each one and secured it with a piece of our white Baker's twine.
Come back to see what I do with them next.

Embellished Clothespins

My post today is all about clothespins.  They are very handy and I use them a lot, kind of like I'd use binder clips or larger paper clips.  These are just more fun.  They need to look pretty, though, because that bumps up the fun a notch.
I've used our new DSP called Lullaby for the clothespins and the tag and then I sponged around the tag.  I used our Petite Petals punch and the flower from our Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack for extra embellishments  I used Crystal Effects to attach the DSP.  After it dried, I added a protective coat over the top of the clothespins, to protect the papers.
Using white Baker's Twine, I made a little tassel for the tab.  Put this all in a little cello bag, add a cute little tag and ribbon with it and you've got a wonderful little gift for a special someone.

Stamp A Tag Kit

I hope you saw and enjoyed my little mini series:  Wrap It Up.  Today, I'd like to share a gift that is wrapped up in itself.  It's our Stamp A Tag Kit.  This is a really great gift to give to a friend, whether they stamp or not.  It includes absolutely everything you'll need to make some cute gift tags for Christmas.  Once they've made all the tags, they'll still have 2 cute little stamps and 2 little Stampin' Spots of ink, so they can make something else, too.  Fun, quick and easy.  That's my plan for this year's holiday preparation.  Of course, you might decide to get the kit and keep it for yourself.  The price is reasonable enough that you could get several to give and still keep one:)

The kit comes in this cute little box.  All I did was add some DSP to the lid and attach a cute little bow.  It will look amazing when they open it.  This would make a wonderful gift for a coworker or a Secret Santa gift!
I know you can't see it very well, but the inside has divided sections, made with a cute little polka dot paper.  The outside of the box is already decorated and I thought it was cute, so I left it 'as is' and just added a gift bow by using a tied piece of our pretty Cherry Cobbler ribbon.  You could add a tag to it or use the little white strips (already on the box lid) to write your 'to / from' info.

Seriously Christmas

I'm getting ready early for my Seriously Christmas class and want to share some of the projects with you that we'll be making.  I decided that it would look pretty to have all the projects coordinate, so I've used our Season of Style DSP for my color story for everything.  At my Christmas Retreats in November, we'll use mostly the Winter Frost DSP.  Let's take a look at Seriously Christmas:

As you can see, class participants will go home with a boatload of Christmas goodness!

I have a decorated stamp case that is filled with surprises --- all for Christmas.  This would make a great gift for a special someone... or special just for you:)  Here's the outside of the case, all decorated with Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White.
Open it up and look at what's inside!
Believe it or not, it holds 8 gift tags and 8 little gift enclosure cards.  They are all decorated to coordinate with the decorated stamp case.

More Fun with Pop-Up Posies

In my last post, I shared some cards and tags I made with the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit.  Today, I'd like to share what else I've made with the kit.

First up, I used the flowers to decorate a couple of small grapevine wreaths.  I love how they brighten them up --- like a breath of Spring!  I've wrapped the wreaths with some of our new Two-Tone Ribbon --- Basic Gray.

Remember, you can use the tags as actual tags...
... and you can use the tags on projects...

I LOVE using the Fancy Favor Box in my projects.  These tags look so cute on them.  You can fit all kinds of treats and/or small gifts into the boxes.  Who wouldn't want a gift like this?

... and, of course, you can make some more cards...
Instead of using the posies from the kit, I added some of the roses I'd dyed from a previous project.  To see how to dye the roses, click here.

Below, you can see a close-up of how I embossed the card with our new Borders Scoring Plate.  That's another way to add a super fun look to your projects.
So, now I challenge you...   What else can you come up with to make using this fun kit?  Come back and share your ideas.  I'd love to hear from you!

Pop-Up Posies... Popping up Some Fun!

I love kits.  They satisfy your need to be creative, even when you're short on time... and they challenge your creativity to use them in unique ways.

The Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit is just plain tons of fun.  Would you like to see what all I've made with it so far?  Here you go!
The kit comes with 3 different kinds of precut flower pieces, embossed tags, Baker's Twine for the tags, fancy brads and even a stamp, so you can stamp on the tag.
I used a stamp from Tea Shoppe for the tag on the card above.  I've added a little heart clip to my card, too.  Don't you love the Tea for Two DSP?
You don't have to make cards, either.  They can be used for other projects as well.  You can use the flowers on the tags for a fabulous look to your gift packages.
Come back for my next post and see more projects using this fabulous kit.
