Project Life: Two Layouts... Sneak Peek

I've been working on a couple of Project Life layouts for the past several weeks.  I designed my layouts to show how you can use different layout templates and still have it transition and flow smoothly together.  I decided to add a 12 X 12" page into the mix.  I like how it all turned out and how it does truly work together.  Today, you only get a sneak peek at what I've done, because it's for my May 2 Project Life Class.  I still have openings and can take registrations up through noon on Friday, May 1.  I have a lot to share at this class and look forward to sharing it all with the lucky participants.  Here's your sneak peek:

Quick and Easy, Part 1

Sometimes you need a card in a hurry.  What better way to do it than quick AND easy.

The top layer of each card is a Project Life card.
Look VERY closely and you can see that I've added some scoring for added detail.

Black and White Mustache Card Fun

Here's a quick and easy card I made for fun.  I've used our mustache framelit and a Project Life card.
I also used our Word Bubble framelits, so everything came together quite quickly and easily.
I used Crushed Curry for the card base, to make the black and white really pop.
Come back for my next post.  I have one more mustache/Project Life card to share with you.

Accordion Frame

My MIL was cleaning out a few things a while back and gave me this darling little accordion frame that she didn't need any more.  I promptly filled it up with Project Life cards and added a few little details to it.  It's all ready for some photos, but really looks cute as is.
Here are some close-ups.
It was difficult to get the middle frame to show up well in the photo.  I was getting a bad reflection.
The cute little embellishments (punched pieces) are attached with glue dots, so they can be removed and the frame reused in the future... when I get ready for a change.
Ok, so now it's time for you to go look through your stash and see if you have any frames that you could decorate and give new life.

Life Is An Adventure ... a Card w/Project Life Materials

Here's another fun card that I made in a short amount of time, in spite of its fancy layers.
I added 2 different strips of color behind the letters, for added interest.  I stamped some silver speckles onto the envelope to coordinate with the card.
I added a layer of black in between the top layer and the silver glimmer paper.  It really makes it pop.
Life truly is an adventure.  Have a good one today!

Best Day Ever Card From Project Life Materials

I love using our Project Life materials to make a quick card.  Here's what I have for you today.
I added a series of layers, to give a lot of detail to the card.  The top layer is on dimensionals to give depth behind the open lettering.
I've added a sprinkle of silver using a stamp from our Gorgeous Grunge set.
I love these colors together!

Project Life Cards From My Tags

In my previous post, I shared some cute tags that I made and asked you to come back to see what I would do with them.  I used some of them for cards!  Take a look:

There are still 2 tags left.  You'd better come back again to see what I do with them.

Cute Tags ... made with Project Life Materials

Today, I have some cute little tags to share with you.  I made them using Project Life materials.  Our Scallop Tag Topper punch makes it quick and easy to turn a 2" strip into a tag!
They started out as Project Life cards (from our Everyday Adventure kit) and then you trim an inch off the long side.  Save the scrap, cut it in half, and you can decorate the lower edge of 2 tags.  Because they're double-sided, you can get a nice variety going.

Here they are before I decorated them.  I used a little piece of ribbon in each one and secured it with a piece of our white Baker's twine.
Come back to see what I do with them next.
