Oh So Succulent Layout

Today's layout was inspired by the card I shared recently.  Click here to see the card.  I really like how this one turned out.  As with my dragonfly layout, it's very nature themed.
There are stamped flowers and cut flowers.
I did a little soft sponging here and there and added touches of Wink of Stella.

Dragonfly Layout

Here's a layout I made as soon as I got my new dragonfly goodies and the gorgeous new DSP.  These are my favorites of all time.  How can you go wrong, with using the two of them together?  The background CS is Sahara Sand, so it's a soft, nature inspired layout.  I used Wink of Stella on all the dragonflies.

Traditional + Project Life Completed Layout

One of the many things that makes me happy is spending time with my grandchildren.  Next best is completing scrapbooking layouts featuring my grandchildren.  At one of our last Scraps and Prayers, we made a Traditional + Project Life Layout and I recently completed mine, using photos of my sweet Olive Jane.  I love this layout!

What A Fun Class We Had!

We had a wonderful class last night and had so much fun.  We did a really fun layout design where I combined Traditional Scrapbooking with Project Life Scrapbooking.  They blended together beautifully.  I feel so blessed to be able to lead a group such as this one.
I just love how these turned out.  I need to get out some photos and get busy finishing up this layout.
The large black photo mat is an 8 1/2" square.  I thought you could add one larger photo on it or stagger several smaller ones.  You could even do a 4-photo layout on this page inside the black square.
The plain Crushed Curry and Black CS sections are for photos.

I still have two openings for Saturday's class:

Using the Enjoy the Little Things Project Kit in A New Way

One of my customers sent me an email asking about the Enjoy the Little Things Project Kit.  She wanted to know if it would be of any use for scrapbooking.  This sent my brain into a bit of a creative buzz.  Why not use it for scrapbooking?!!!  I could see keeping the more dimensional flowers in a jar card for use on the display easel.  That still leaves you with 12 other cards... Could these become 12 layout inspirations?

Here's a look at the kit, found on Page 33 of our Spring Occasions Catalog.  It's a wonderful home decor project.

Wildflower Fields Envelope Mini Album

Sometimes, when I have a bunch of gorgeous papers on hand, I feel like making an envelope mini album.  This one will be for my April Scraps and Prayers Group.  I think we'll have a great time making it.
The papers are so pretty that I tried to come up with a way to show off how beautifully they coordinated.
I used 2 shades of CS for the leaves.
It's decorated front and back and can actually hold a lot of photos or mementos.
It has 6 envelopes and I cut CS pieces to fit into the openings of the envelopes on the front side of the album.  I used magnets to help hold it closed.
This was a great project and I love how it turned out.  This is one of those that fell into place and just evolved into a finished project.  The DSP designs constantly guide you.

A Vintage Layout with Embossed Flowers

Today, I want to give you a better look at the layout we'll be making for my next Scraps and Prayers class.  I designed this layout to use in my Heritage Album, but I think you could also use it in other settings, as well.  My color story is Early Espresso, Whisper White, and Sahara Sand, with white embossed accents in the punched flowers.
I have a challenge for you:
Change out the flower stamp for a current one.
Change out the entire color story.
Enjoy an entirely new look.
I'll be doing this challenge, too, so I'll share mine with you when I'm finished.
The smaller mats (as well as the triangular pieces) can be used for photos and/or journaling.

A Project Life Album Project, Part 3

Today, I'll share the last of my album pages for my Project Life Album project.  I hope I can inspire you to go create one of your own.  You'll be glad you did.
I am so grateful to Ronda Wade, a fellow demonstrator, for sharing her faith and creativity with others.  She is an inspiration to us all.

After this last full-page spread, I have a lot of extra pages with just cards and even some blank journaling cards, so the recipient of my album can add whatever she'd like to add to it.   Inside the last page, I placed a bunch of extra punched pieces, so she can use those as needed for some extra embellishments.
Here, again, is my album... ready to go off in the mail to a special person.  I hope this blesses her and helps to uplift her spirits.

A Project Life Album Project, Part 2

Are you ready to see more of my Project Life album pages?  Let's jump right in and get started.  I've added a few punched pieces for simple embellishments.  The Scriptures have been cut to various shapes using framelits and thinlits.
I've used a few hearts, stars, flowers, and a lot of butterflies.
