Old Olive Plaid Card

What a fun party we had Sunday!  I was so pleased that my guests spaced themselves out in such a way that I got to spend time with each one!  We partied until a little past our time ... and it was so much fun!  
I had an early doctor's appointment yesterday and then I kind of took the day off and enjoyed reading a book by Clint Harp, their go-to carpenter from the Fixer Upper.  I loved his book and highly recommend it.  It's so inspirational to hear him share how he did so much to follow his dream. 
Now, on to today's card.  I love plaid and I love Old Olive, so when I can enjoy them together ... I'm a happy camper.

We're going to have Old Olive Linen Thread in our upcoming Occasions catalog!  Yay!

I spent some extra time being sure to center the plaid design before I cut it.  It gives it a much more elegant look.

I love the look of this card, but there's more you could do with it.  If you just changed out the sentiment, I think you could turn it into a great birthday card, especially for a guy.  It's always good to have more ideas for masculine cards and plaid always works.

Thanksgiving is almost here!

HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE PARTY TODAY!

My party is today and I'm excited to have everyone come for a while and have some fun.

These little Gable Boxes make darling Christmas houses for party favors.  They'd be great for 'wrapping' small gifts, too.

The little Take-Out Boxes are just large enough for a special coupon and little surprise gift tucked inside.  These are for my customers who place orders today of $35. or more, as a little thank you gift.

I'm serving their main refreshments in Baker's Boxes today.  I will share a photo of those once I have the goodies inside and tie a cute ribbon around them.  I will also share later the cute little gift bags I made for everyone.  I thought it would be handy to have a little bag to take home all their Make and Takes and goodies today.   I coordinated all my 'gifts' for everyone with our Santa's Workshop DSP this year.  It's really cute.

Sincerely Santa Project Kit Projects, Part 2

Are you ready for my Part 2?  Here we go!

I took some of my tags and made cards!  They're all in Cherry Cobbler or Garden Green.

I used our new Tufted embossing folder (TIEF).  I think it's so pretty and really adds a lot to your cards!

OK, confession time.  Do you see my silly mistake on the card below?   I accidentally attached the doily on the right with the vanilla side up, instead of the white side.  Oops!  I can fix it.  Stuff happens:)

After making all these cards + a couple of other projects I'll share with you soon, I still had all these tags left.  I just love them.  Be sure to come back for my next project.
