Snowflake Showcase is Here!

Today's a great day.  It's the beginning of beautiful November and it's the start of our Snowflake Showcase promotion.  If you're looking for some beautiful stamps, dies, trinkets, and special papers, this is for you.  By the way, the special papers are all white --- white velvet.  Yes, velvet.  You can pet them or you can make beautiful snowflakes.  It takes color beautifully to sponge it, too.
Remember this card that I posted a few days ago?  It was made with these products, along with Beautiful Blizzard products.  These products go beautifully together.

As you can see, this stamp sets work together with the dies and they are NOT just for winter.  They are actually very versatile.  I love, love, love the snowflakes.

Beautiful Blizzard Card

I had to laugh when I typed this title.  Is there anything such as a beautiful blizzard?  In my opinion, a blizzard is not pretty --- unless it's on a card.  Anyway, I love today's card and it is a tribute to the beauty of our new color - Merry Merlot.  This card was inspired by Mary Fish, whom I met at a SU Convention one year.

I used the Big Shot embossing mats with the Blizzard Thinlit Die to emboss the top layer of my card.  I added a quick spritz of Bright Copper Shimmer Paint that I mixed in my spritzer bottle with alcohol.  It's really pretty.  I was already in love with the Champagne Mist and use it all the time.  Then SU came out with the Bright Copper AND Vegas Gold (and brought back Frost White and Champagne Mist) shimmer paints and all I can say is WOW.  They're gorgeous when mixed to make a spritzer.  Love them all! 

I love this new Merry Merlot/Copper ribbon.  It is absolutely gorgeous.  It works with Cherry Cobbler, too, believe it or not.  Often you can mix up our ribbons a bit and they work very well.  They are versatile:)

Beautiful Blizzard / Dashing Deer Card

Here's another beautiful deer for you and today's is in gold.  I love our new foil-edged cards and envelopes.  They're all ready for you to use them to create something beautiful.  If you're in the area and thinking of signing up for my Stamp-A-Stack class, we'll be using some of these beautiful cards and envelopes for our creations.  They come in silver, also.

I love the graceful elegance of this leaping deer.

The cluster of snowflakes are from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set.  I stamped them in gold.

Snow is Glistening Card

We have a new promotion beginning on November 1.  It runs through the month of November, while supplies last.  We'll have 2 new Christmas stamp sets and dies that make the most beautiful snowflakes I've ever seen.  A super nice feature about these stamp sets is that they can work throughout the year - not just for Christmas.  Today's card features some of the stamps and dies.  We'll be making this one at my October 20 Saturday Stampers class.
I'm sorry to say that registration is now closed for this class.  When a class gets full, registration will then close, even if it's before the deadline.  I have a large studio, but it has a limit as to how many can comfortably work together at the table.  I have had to turn people away from this class and a previous one because the class filled up before they could register.  Please, don't wait until too long to sign up for a class or you may be disappointed to learn that it is already full.  You can still enjoy seeing the cards and projects here on my blog.
So, let's see today's card.  I absolutely love, love, love it!

Isn't this pretty?  There are so many details involved here.  This card was so much fun to create.  It was inspired by a card from Stampin' Up! and I just created my own version.

Cutting the snowflakes out of the White Velvet Sheets gives a unique and wonderful texture to this card.

This card will be my inspiration for the mixed media project that I'll be creating for our next Scraps and Prayers class.  I get to start it today.  Brusho, here I come!  I'll share it soon.
