More Washi Tape Fun

Since my husband's accident and hospital stay, my time has been spent entirely on taking care of him, babysitting the boys and going to doctor appointments.  He does have an irregular heartbeat and they are trying to explore every possible option to try to learn why he passed out before they start some of the needed medications.  This continues to be a scary and stressful time for us, so please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

So... I apologize for a few gaps in my posting lately.  I miss stamping and hope to be back at it soon.  In the meantime, I do have more creative inspirations to share with you.  Hopefully, by the time my 'stash' runs out, I will have been able to create a few more new things to keep sharing with you.

Today, I have more Washi Tape fun to show you.  These are easy to make, fun to use and just plain cute.

Up next:
I will keep you posted as to my plans and class schedule.  I will try to reschedule my Open House for a later date, once our lives get settled back down a bit.  Maybe we'll have it be a summer stamping party:)  It will be fun, I promise!

Tag Topper Punch Closure Card

The title for my post today is probably more difficult to say than it is to make the card.  I've been seeing a lot of cards made with this design and decided to jump in and give it a try.  We'll actually be making this card at my class this Friday.
The card was fun and easy to make and I love how bright and cheery it is, as we've been having some drizzly days here lately.

I used my wire cutters to cut off part of a round toothpick.  I attached it to my banner and tied a ribbon around it and now I have a cute little pennant flag.
Because a portion of the inside of your card shows when you use this design, it's good to add a piece of CS inside the card.  You can stamp a little something on the inside and still have room for writing a nice little message.  I mostly do hand written messages on the inside of my cards because I know people really appreciate hearing from you with a personal note.  You still have room for a little stamping, so the inside can look good and have something special to say.

Bermuda Bay Christmas

We're back to Christmas today, with some embossing, a little sparkle and beautiful Bermuda Bay.  Here's one of the cards we'll be making at my Oct. 11 / 13 card classes.  I love the silver sparkle of the Silver Glimmer Paper with the Bermuda Bay.  I kept the design simple, to show off the elegance of the silver and the embossing... and the beautiful stamp.

If you're wondering where I got this stamp, it's one of our new Singles stamps.  I love it.  I couldn't wait to see it embossed.  The card is pretty quick to make when you cut the circle with the Circles Collection Framelits and the Big Shot.  I don't think I could function in my studio without my Big Shot!
