Now, here we go with more scrapping!  I guess I'd better dig out some photos soon to add to all my pages.
This layout was designed by my daughter.  I just love it.  There are a lot of little details that just make it perfect.

Notice the background?  The entire 12 X 12" sheets are scored with the diagonal scoring plate on our Simply Scored tool.  It adds so much to your project to be able to do something like this.  The DSP is from Beyond the Garden.

...and here is another favorite:
I made this layout using the Summer Smooches DSP.  It really looks like summer!

So... you should be inspired by now to get scrapping!  Enjoy!

Hello, Wasabi!

I enjoyed designing this card with Wild Wasabi.  I love this shade of green and admit that I haven't used it for quite a while.  (You know how I love my Cherry Cobbler!)  I pulled out the Wild Wasabi because I wanted to use this floral piece of DSP from Beyond the Garden.  I guess I'm thinking ahead and wishing for a beautiful Spring.  I used the circle and scallop circle dies for the main layers and one of the framelit dies for a background piece.
I cut the framelit piece in half and pulled it apart --- to create a larger piece --- placing it under the Wild Wasabi and Whisper White strips and tied a beautiful white satin ribbon around it all.  The CS colors are Whisper White, Wild Wasabi and Pacific Point --- to coordinate with the piece of Beyond the Garden DSP.  It's difficult to see it, but I've embossed the little white strip with the Flower Garden embossing folder.
The inks are Wild Wasabi and Pacific point.  The stamps are from the Best Friends Forever and Elementary Elegance stamp sets.  I stamped off the leaf stamp, to create a lighter background behind the 'Hello' text.  In the close-up, you can see the sparkle from my Frost White Shimmer Paint/alcohol mixture that I used to spritz the front of the card.  This card is for a Mojo Monday sketch challenge.  It was a really fun challenge to try!

Beyond the Garden

Here's a bright layout with Beyond the Garden DSP.  I love the bright colors.  This would be a great way to use up scraps, too.  This is a great time to stock up on extra DSP, too.  Until the end of August, you can buy 3 packages of DSP and get another one FREE.  Time's almost up, though, so hurry and place your order.  With my free ribbon special going on during the same time, this is a GREAT time to place your orders and enjoy more product!
Notice the varying sizes of flowers in this layout?  I designed them on My Digital Studio so I could have the sizes I needed for this layout.  I used the coordinating stamp set for the lower portion of the page.  The stamp set is Fabulous Florets.  When I design pieces for my projects on My Digital Studio, I print them on our Whisper White CS so I get the same good quality product for my projects and they print beautifully.  You can choose whatever size and color you'd like to use, so the possibilities are endless.
