Whew!  I had to take a few days away from my blog to keep up with our house painters.  They're almost finished and it looks beautiful.  As part of their job, they cleaned ALL our windows!!!  Unbelievable!!!  Are you wondering what color I decided upon for my front door?  I finally found the swatch strip I wanted in the first place.  It was stuck or hiding, I guess.  I chose Turkish Coffee, or in Stampin' Up! language --- Early Espresso.  I love it!!  It's dramatic and goes with all our oil rubbed bronze light fixtures.  So, back to blogging ... just to be sure you didn't miss anything ...

My Little Bird and Free Class Reminders ... And one more freebie ... Just for you!

You can actually achieve several looks of your embossed area.  You can emboss and leave it as is, you can sand it, you can change your positioning of the embossed area, and you can reverse your embossing folder and get an indented embossing (debossing) which is a great look.  Different looks work better on different cards, so try them all and see what you like.

Stampin' Blends Free Class Update

As you know, I've been planning a special class that I'd like to offer.  It's a coloring techniques class -- all about working with our new Stampin' Blends!  Unfortunately, these have been so popular that SU has placed them off availability temporarily, to give our supplier time to catch up to us.
So... I will proceed with scheduling the free classes for those who already have purchased their markers before all this happened ... and ... I will keep my offer open for those who'd like to order once they become available again.
