From just one post to the very next day's post, things can change pretty fast.  Basically, I've had super bad news about my decrepit knee and need to change our party date, but all else is is well and unchanged.

Here's What We Had at My Party

I just realized that I'd never shared the projects and all that I had at my party.  So... today's the day.  We made 2 cards and a cute little box project.  Everyone got several gifts and we all had a lot of fun!

I added my class schedule to the back of the bookmark gifts, for a handy reference. 

This card was a real favorite of mine.  

These cute little boxes actually came from a kit and they are adorable!

Going antiquing last year and finding this berry picking box worked out perfectly to hold my berry basket gifts for everyone.  I forgot to take a photo before the party, but here are a few boxes that were picked up later in the week after the party.

This berry picking box holds 6 berry baskets.  I have another white one that holds even more.  Fun!

It was a great time and I enjoyed spoiling everyone with special gifts and treats.  

If you live in the area and like parties, be sure to add Sunday afternoon, November 1 to your calendars.  I'm having my Christmas Open House early this year!  It will be from 2:00-5:00.  I'm already planning all the fun we'll have at the party.

Open House Sneak Peek

I've been super busy getting ready for my Open House/New Catalog Party.  It's coming up soon now --- June 23, 2:00-5:00.  This year, it's a garden party theme, inspired by our Gingham Garden Suite.  Here's a little sneak peek at 2 of the projects I've made for the party.

Each year, I focus on a special part of the event.  Some years, I've gone all out on refreshments, while other years I've had super games to play or projects to make.  This year, I'm working on stations.  EVERY station will have a fun activity.  So far, this is what I have:

1. Pick up cute little folders (to keep) and sign in.
2. A Survey (your opportunity to give me suggestions) and A Guessing Game.
3. A Color Game.  How well do you know our Stampin' Up! colors?
4. Make a bookmark for all the In Colors.
5. Place your order and spin the spinner for prizes.  (You get 1 spin for every $10. you spend!!!) *
6. Enjoy my Make and Take Projects!!!!!
7. Garage Sale / Displays / Refreshments
8. Pick up little favor (gifts) on your way out.
   

Have I forgotten anything???  So now that you have gotten a sneak peek, you can be thinking up suggestions to give me, planning what you want to order, deciding what might be my favorite stamp set or new color, and studying your Stampin' Up! colors.

Getting Ready for my Open House

After a bad night with asthma, I'm feeling better since the treatment kicked in a bit.  I'm getting ready for my Open House this afternoon.  Toby Joe will be decked out in his Christmas scarf.  He loves company!

We're going to make 4 projects --- all just for fun!  Can't wait!

We Love Our Hostesses!

There's never been a better time to host a party than now!  From June 1 - July 31, you have the opportunity to earn $115. or more in free products, with a qualifying party!!!  We love our Hostesses because they give us the opportunity to share what we love with others!

I love the Summer Smooches Product Suite.  It's so bright and cheerful

Here's a close-up of an easy way to add extra color to your card.  Before you tie a little knot bow, add in a sprig of a second color of ribbon.  I actually attach these with a dot of Liquid Tombow adhesive.  It really holds on the ribbon.  Clamp or hold it in place until it starts to dry and it will stay put for good.

This last cute little card was made by my daughter when she was here visiting recently.  Isn't it just adorable?  It's so cute and simple...and fun!
