3 X 3" Gingham Garden Cards

Sometimes, it's fun to make some little cards.  I often make an extra card or two whenever I have some larger scraps left over from a bigger project.  You can often get a 4 X 4" or 3 X 3" card made from your scraps.  Here are a couple of cute little cards I made with Gingham Garden scraps.

Need help figuring out what colors of CS go with your DSP?  Look on the back of the package (cardboard insert) and it lists it for you!  Isn't that handy?

Reminder, before I go:

Step It Up Series, Card 2

In continuing my series on using card templates and making stepped up versions of cards, today's cards are from Laura's sketch.  Here are my 2 cards --- following the sketch and then stepping up my design.
Here is the sketch that Laura chose:
This one was a little challenging, because I didn't want to make it look like the butterfly.  I wanted to show how you can really change the image, but still start with a sketch as your inspiration.  This was fun!

Don't forget about the Stamp Club deadline to pay to register for August.  If you did not sign up for the 3-month club (July-August-September), you can still pay $45. and take the August class.
Pay to register by Monday, July 22.

Here's what we'll be making:
And here's what you'll get to take home:
I hope you'll join us.  We're going to have a lot of fun and I'll give you more ideas to try at home, using your take-home goodies.

Today is the first day of Convention.  I'll be posting about some of the fun things we get to see and do, so be sure to check back often.  Thanks for stopping by.

Fun on A Roll ... Washi Tape, Part 2

Today, I have more ideas for you to use in working with your Washi Tape.  I also have info on Product Bundles.  Who doesn't like a bargain?

Here's a fun little 3-D project you can make and decorate with Washi Tape.  I've used Washi Tape to decorate around the outside edges of empty button containers.  These would make cute little gift containers for a little surprise for someone special.
Here's another card using a couple of strips of Washi Tape.  I love my Smoky Slate.

This is a color story suggested from the Color Coach.
  • Smoky Slate
  • Daffodil Delight
  • Whisper White

Open House Sneak Peek

I've been super busy getting ready for my Open House/New Catalog Party.  It's coming up soon now --- June 23, 2:00-5:00.  This year, it's a garden party theme, inspired by our Gingham Garden Suite.  Here's a little sneak peek at 2 of the projects I've made for the party.
Each year, I focus on a special part of the event.  Some years, I've gone all out on refreshments, while other years I've had super games to play or projects to make.  This year, I'm working on stations.  EVERY station will have a fun activity.  So far, this is what I have:
  1. Pick up cute little folders (to keep) and sign in.
  2. A Survey (your opportunity to give me suggestions) and A Guessing Game.
  3. A Color Game.  How well do you know our Stampin' Up! colors?
  4. Make a bookmark for all the In Colors.
  5. Place your order and spin the spinner for prizes.  (You get 1 spin for every $10. you spend!!!) *
  6. Enjoy my Make and Take Projects!!!!!
  7. Garage Sale / Displays / Refreshments
  8. Pick up little favor (gifts) on your way out.
Have I forgotten anything???  So now that you have gotten a sneak peek, you can be thinking up suggestions to give me, planning what you want to order, deciding what might be my favorite stamp set or new color, and studying your Stampin' Up! colors.

RSVP
Please let me know (yes OR no) if you will be attending.  I hope it's a yes.  Bring a friend or two, please!!!  Come and let me inspire you.
*Don't forget:
For every $10. you order, not only do you get to spin the spinner, but you get to choose a Garage Sale item as well.  It's a super deal!!!

Up next:
Sunday, June 23:
Open House/New Catalog Party / a 'no fee' event / RSVP by June 22 / 2:00-5:00
I am going all out this year with fun stations.  I have a special activity planned for each and every station.  You don't want to miss this event!!!

Remember:
My 'garage sale' is going on right now.  For every $10. you spend when you place an order (before tax and shipping), you get that amount in credit toward the sale items.  I have some great deals!!!

Have a great day!

Gingham Garden Scrapbook In A Box

Before I begin today's post, I want to remind you that the new catalog goes live at noon (mountain time) today!  You can place an order online through my website.  Get ready for amazing!!!

After making several of these projects with a Crumb Cake base and Epic Day DSP, I wanted to try a version using some of our brand new papers --- Gingham Garden.  This is a bright and cheerful design, for sure!  I am loving this paper!  My base this time is Midnight Muse.  I made 2 sizes of the Scrapbook In A Box projects.
