Some of My July Projects, Part 4

Today's post concludes my little series on sharing some of my July projects with you.  It's a cute little gift box and it has a special surprise inside it.
This is the same gift box you saw in Part 1 of this series, but I've used it in a different way.  I cut off the top flaps, so that when the box is closed, it makes a little opening to insert your gift, and becomes more like a little, square gift bag.  I punched a hole in each side and tied a Lost Lagoon ribbon through it to create a handle for my little gift bag.

I used a bow (Lullaby DSP)  I made with our die and then added a tag (Chalk Talk) to it.  I made coordinating 'filler' for my gift bag by cutting tiny slivers of Lost Lagoon CS and then crumpling it.  I also added a piece of Lost Lagoon CS to the back, inside of my gift bag, as it shows a little through the window.

Here's what's inside... a set of little 3 X 3" note cards.
I've embossed the cute little bird.  It's from our Hello Love stamp set.  It's one of our new, fun Hostess stamp sets.
I tied a Hello Honey ribbon around the set of 4 note cards.  This will make a great gift for a special someone.

... and, one more time ... here are all my projects:

More In Colors Creations

We've had several uneventful days lately, which is just what we'd hoped for with Bill's situation.  We are both trying to catch up on our rest, as we've both felt just absolutely wiped out from it all.  We've had so many cards, FB messages, emails, calls and all and I cannot begin to tell you how much they are all appreciated.  Thank you for your caring.  Now, it's time for some stamping!

How about some more cards using our new In Colors?  Did I mention how much I am enjoying the new colors?  I really do like them:)
The cute little bird is from our Hello Love Hostess set.  I've stamped him in gold Metallic Encore Ink, along with some little 'dots' (in gold) from our Gorgeous Grunge set, for added texture and interest.  The cute little star clip is from our new Basic Hodgepodge Clips.  I added a little gold stamped bird to the envelope, to coordinate everything.
Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day.

You Make Me Happy

I have a quick post today and then I'm off to finish prepping for my catalog Preview Party this afternoon.
Today, I have a cute little card made with a Hostess stamp set coming out in our new catalog.  The set is called Hello Love and, like it's name, it's just cute.
The larger white layer is dry embossed.  The smaller white layer features 2 rounded corners, stamped gold highlights (with Gorgeous Grunge) and then, once all the pieces were in place, I spritzed it with gold shimmer.  I was kind of playing with the elegant gold accents against the more rustic look of the embossed layer.  I like the pop of blue with the little bird.
I've decorated the inside of the card and the envelope flap, so everything coordinates nicely.  I left plenty of room on the inside to write a nice note.
