Wonderful Set of Floral Cards

Inspired by our Friendly Expressions stamp set, I decided to create a set of cards.  I colored in the images using our Stampin' Blends.  In keeping with my 'using up my stash' goal, I chose card colors based on some envelopes I had 'saved' for future use.  These were bright and cheerful and I loved how they turned out.  They were super fun to create.

I made a lot!  

I boxed up some of them in our acrylic boxes.  They would make a really pretty gift.

I turned the cards to have one facing out on the front and on the back of the acrylic box.

I used Mossy Meadow, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay for my card bases.

In the card below, I sponged around the outside of the image to create a soft, pretty look to this floral image.

I dropped one piece on the floor and, before I realized it, Lilly Belle found it and started 'playing' with it, so I came up with a new design for this one card.  It uses some of our DSP in 3 panels and I like it, too.

Bloom By Bloom Note Card

I have a fun little note card for you today.  It coordinates with the mini pizza box I shared in an earlier post.  (Click here to see that post.)

We always need quick little thank you notes, so this is a good one to have on hand.  You can quickly cut scraps of DSP and make multiples.  The photopolymer stamps are quick and easy to align, or you can use your Stamparatus if you're worried you'll miss the alignment.

A little strip of DSP adds so much to a note card, even if it makes it more difficult to photograph your card:)  I use this design a lot.  Just trim 1/4" off the front of your card and add a slightly wider strip to the inside.  (This works for a larger card, as well.  You can stamp a coordinating envelope and, if you have enough DSP, you can decorate the flap of the envelope, too.
