I woke up feeling very blessed and thankful this morning, with Psalms 30:5 on my mind, particularly the part... 'Weeping may last for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.' My knee is enough better that I took Lilly for a walk (her first walk outside our yard, really) all around our circle. It was wonderful. We enjoyed it so much. I started with Buster, but he got so distracted that he couldn't focus on walking at all. I'll work with him more in the yard and try again another time. I know I have a long way to go, but I am so thankful to have been able to do this. For me, this was a big deal. I am thankful and full of joy. So... here's a card of thanks.
This card was inspired from one right out of our catalog. I haven't used Tempting Turquoise for a long time and enjoyed playing again with this beautiful color.
The text is embossed with white EP. I love the beautiful font.
Attaching a little punched flower just adds so much. I put a tiny rhinestone at the center.

Retro Fresh, Part 2
Let's continue on with another card using our Retro Fresh DSP. Who wouldn't like to get a thank you card like this one? It has its own coordinating envelope, too. The little wooden elements just add a fun touch as embellishments.
I really like working with the Starburst Framelits Dies. They are just fresh and fun and perfect for layering. So, that's it for today. Short and sweet.

Watercolor Wonder Designer Note Cards, Part 5
Today, we arrive at Part 5, the last of my little series on cards made from our Watercolor Wonder Designer Note Cards. Again, I have chosen to use an elaborate font, as the card background already has quite enough design. It doesn't get any quicker or easier than this.
The text is from the same stamp set I used in my last post --- Million and One. I used our Petite Petals stamp set to create a coordinating envelope.
... and with my previous card...
... and all 5 of my cards...

Watercolor Wonder Designer Note Cards, Part 4
We're up to Part 4 today in my little series on Watercolor Wonder Designer Note Cards. Again... whew! Today's card features an open oval in the center that is a blank canvas to many, many options for text and/or images. Because this series features quick and simple cards, I went with a large text that I just love.
The text stamp is from our Million and One stamp set --- one of my favorite text stamp sets for when you need a larger text. Isn't the font pretty? Remember, you're going to have a different look for your stamping on these cards, because you're stamping onto watercolor paper.
I picked up the colors in the background on the note card and stamped flowers (Petite Petals) to create a coordinating envelope.
... and here we are with our previous card and today's card. I'm thinking it's a lot more fun to have a clothesline full of cute cards than full of fresh laundry:)
Come back for my next post to see the final card in the series and then we'll take one last look at all five of them together.

Before I go, I'd just like to say how much fun we had at my Friday Night Cards class last night. What a wonderful group of ladies. They all went home with 4 beautiful cards. I'm so glad I kept it to 4 cards last night because we needed the time to focus on the techniques.

Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party... and Sneak Peek 4
Today, I'm sharing a beautiful color story with you --- Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and a bit of Coastal Cabana. This makes for a gorgeous and yummy, monochromatic card. It has a touch of bling, too. Want to see it? Here you go!
As always, I've stamped a coordinating envelope. I've used hexagons in the embossed layer and then stamped and punched hexagons for the focal piece of the card. The rhinestones add a finishing touch, along with some Bermuda Bay ribbon.
We'll be making this card at my Friday Night Cards class on August 9. I hope you'll join us.
