Ferns and Botanicals ... a Super Soft Version ... and a Surprise

Sometimes, it's fun to design a card that is super soft and pretty.  That's what I have for you today.  This one holds a little surprise for you, too!
The ferns are from one of my most favorite stamp sets ever ... Butterfly Basics.
The leaves are cut from our Botanical Builder Framelits Dies.  I cut them from watercolor paper and then 'painted' them with various shades of reinkers.  They are attached with dimensionals.  I used the same DSP for the card and the envelope liner.
Did you figure out the surprise yet?  I used our Filter Paper for the stamped ferns layer!  It's artistically rumpled and then attached to a piece of white CS.  It gives the look of tissue paper but it's even easier to work with it on a project.  Please do give this a try.  Filter paper is good for more than you may realize.

Getting Your Sparkle On, Part 10

As promised, today's card features Iridescent Ice, Wink of Stella and Glitter Ribbon.  It is covered with sparkle!
This card is actually a similar version to the card in my previous post.  I used the Washi Label Punch to punch out my greeting and then sponged around it before attaching it with dimensionals.
I cut out the flower, colored it, attached it with dimensionals and then added Wink of Stella to the blossom.  You can actually see a little bit of the Iridescent Ice in the background on the close-up.  As you know, it'd so difficult to capture the true beauty of the sparkle in a photo.
I love this paper and love the card.  Compare it to my previous card and you can see what a difference the color of the mat makes when using the same DSP design.  This one is also one of my favorites.
Next up...
a really simple card, using Wink of Stella.  See you then!

Getting Your Sparkle On, Part 8

How about some more Wink of Stella... and some Glitter Ribbon for today?  This time, I used Wink of Stella on every scoop of ice cream on the DSP.  It actually didn't take too long... and it was fun.
The downside is that it's almost impossible to see it in the photo.  In real life, it's gorgeous.
Ice cream, anyone?
Next up...
More Wink of Stella and some rhinestone sparkle fun.  See you then!
