Today's post has some fun sneak peeks. You'll have to keep coming back to get the whole story. First up, I've been doing some sprucing up in my studio. I enjoy giving it a new look frequently and every time we come out with new products, I just have to show off some of them in my studio. I enjoy making new projects and enjoy having a place to display them where not only my customers can see them but I can enjoy them myself - each and every day.
I love our new spiral flower die! You can make bunches of flowers --- in any color you'd like, paper or CS! I used mine to decorate a banner. Here's a little sneak peek at the banner. You'll have to come back soon to see the rest of the banner.
Here's the spiral flower die.

Come back soon to see the entire banner. I love it!
And next up, I want to share with you my newly redecorated bulletin board.
The left half is cork, so I ironed on some of our retired fabric. I've been using a lot of black and white in my studio, to create a neutral canvas where I can show off any color I want and have it really look great. The right half is magnetic, so I decided to cover it with DSP. I made the little magnets with some of our buttons. The little banner is made with layers punched from CS. The flowers are from one of our kits. I love how they look in the antique pitcher.
I think I'll enjoy the new look for a long time.

Next up, I'll share the entire banner AND a special project I made with some of our Modern Medley DSP. It's also for my studio, as well as an upcoming class:)
Don't forget to mark your calendars for some stamping fun!

Studio Wreath Redo
You know how much we love to use the 'undo' and 'redo' keys on our laptops? Well, I decided to redo my studio wreath and add more flowers. Let me know what you think.
It now has flowers all the way around it.
Here's the original wreath:
...and here it is now:
I have 2 and they're both hanging inside. I just took this outside to get a better photo of it. So, tell me what you think. Should I add some butterflies? It has a lot of lace from the Artisan Embellishment Kit, but it doesn't show up very much in the photo.
I have been so busy this week in my studio.
After getting the retiring list and then my brand new catalog (goes live on May 31), I marked all the retiring products from the current catalog and then started pouring over the new catalog. I like it, I like it, I like it... a lot! I just sang that. Could you hear me?
In preparation for my Left-Overs Party (class) on this Sunday afternoon, I pulled out all the retiring stamps and accessories. I then studied the layout of the new catalog. The stamps are organized a little bit differently than in the current one. I relabeled and resorted all my stamps and put them away according to the new format. I will have to get used to everything being moved a bit.
Now, I'm off to play with the new stamps and products that I got in my pre-order. You'll be seeing some sneak peeks very soon! I'm happy now that I did the work first. I will enjoy my creating just that much more!

A Ribbon Wrapped Wreath
Here's a wreath I just finished. I actually made 2 of them, to hang behind the bar in my studio. I've used fabric and embossed CS for the flowers, with antique brads for the centers. The wreath base is wrapped in our new 2-tone Basic Gray ribbon.
I also used some of the beautiful lace from our Artisan Embellishment Kit. It's under the flowers.
Tip:
I followed a tip I found on Pinterest, to hang my wreaths. I used a hook mounted upside down on the inside of the cabinet doors. You loop the ribbon over the hook and then it goes over the top of the door. This is a great solution for hiding a hook you don't really want to show and there's no damage to your cabinet doors.
By the way, the ribbon is absolutely yummy and it's very easy to work with it. You'll love it!
I feel like I've been running to catch a bus and falling further and further behind. Do you ever feel like that? I have a chunk of time --- today, tomorrow and Wed. --- and I am bound and determined to spend these 3 days working like a dog. Let's see what all I can get done. All I need to do is ... oh, I don't even want to list it all. It does include a lot of creating and, hopefully, finishing up my taxes - so my husband won't kill me.
Have a great day. That puff of smoke was just me --- taking off on the run to charge into 3 intense work days. I'm calling it Day 1 of my Work Like a Dog mission. It will be fun (well not so much, when it comes to taxes); it will be madly insane; it will be busy... and, hopefully, it will be amazingly productive!!! Have a good day. Check back tomorrow and see how I'm doing:) Oh, and while you're waiting, take a tour of my studio. I could use the company.

It's About Time
If you're like me, you're probably feeling like 2013 is already marching along pretty fast. It's about time for more calendars, too. Today's calendars are made from heavy coasters. I don't like clutter all over my fridge, but I do like to have a little calendar there, so these work out perfectly.
These are covered with fabric! I used our Fabric Adhesive Roll and ironed the fabric directly onto the coasters. I embellished them with scraps of ribbon, Antique Brads and some of our Pop-Up Posies.
I purchased the coasters from an online craft supplier, but I can't remember the name. You buy them in bulk, so I've had them around long enough to forget the supplier.

You can get them square or round. I kind of like both. I use a magnet on the back, so I can put it on the fridge. I made some (with a fishing theme) for my husband's file cabinet, too.
This is one we made at one of our Hostess Scrapbook Club crops. It has DSP on both sides and I've used our new woven ribbon, along with various buttons, for embellishments.
If you don't have coasters, you can create a beautiful calendar on a smaller piece of CS. You can also cut a shape from CS or cardboard, using your Big Shot and make your own unique calendar. Stamp an image for the top and place a calendar on the bottom. Embellish to your heart's content.

Everything Isn't Always Black and White
No, it isn't always black and white. Sometimes, it's black and off-white. I've been working on new displays, new projects and playing with new products. I'm having lots of fun in my studio. I hope you're ready to come to my Open House / New Catalog Party on June 3 (2:00-5:00) so you can join in on all the fun!
This is my new memo/pin board. The cute little card was made by my daughter, using all new products. I love it! Below, is a close-up of the butterfly. It's embossed.
These framed pictures hang behind the bar area in my studio. The background is actually fabric!
This cute little 3 X 3" card actually has a layer of fabric on it, too, along with a new framelits shape and another embossed butterfly.
Before I sign off for today and get back to work in my studio, be sure to check out all the details on my upcoming events. There will be a lot going on around her in the near future.

A Black and White Project and Sweet Olive Jane
Here's a project I worked on recently. It uses the Timeless Portrait fabric and some of our new framelits, along with a sneak peek at 2 of the new In Colors --- summer starfruit and midnight muse. They look really pretty with the black.
I used our iron-on fabric adhesive and attached the fabric to a piece of chipboard. It was so easy and so much fun. I'm glad I finally got around to using the fabric adhesive. Notice the use of our antique brads, too, along with yummy ribbons and crochet lace.
I had the most wonderful weekend. I got to have my sweet Olive Jane for the weekend. Here she is all dolled up for church on Mother's Day.
You just have to love those adorable little red shoes!!!
I was so thrilled that I could still manage to create a pony tail for a little girl. It's been a long time!
So many times, friends and family have said that Olive Jane looks like me. Other times, we see our son or our DIL in her sweet face. In this photo, I see my sister. Family...
Peek-a-boo!
Check back soon for more fun project ideas. I'll be sharing a lot more scrapbooking layouts and lots of fun sneak peeks at brand new products!
