Tin of Cards

I have found that it is usually best for me to steer away from some of our kits, believe it or not.  I feel like it sometimes shuts down my creativity, rather than challenges it.  Not so with the Tin of Cards kit.  I was interested in it right away and really enjoyed putting it all together.  Maybe I should admit that, with kits, a big part of the problem is that I don't get around to completing them.  I've promised myself to do better in that regard!  I made all the cards, easily in a day, and then did some quick decorating of my tin.  I used some jute ribbon and made a filter paper flower, using the Flower Medallion Punch. The dividers are inside.  I didn't get a photo of those.
So... would you like to make a bunch of really cute cards... quickly and easily?  Try our Tin of Cards.  I think you'll really like it.

Nature's Perfection Meets Painted Blooms... and the Retired List

Here's another card for you today featuring Blackberry Bliss.  The more I play with this color, the more I love it.
I embossed my flower with Gold EP and then watercolored it with reinker and my Aqua Painter.
I used embossing on the inside of the card and the envelope and then used some sponging to add color to it.  I've used pieces of our jute ribbon, to get just the right size for my card.  I colored the ribbon with spritzing and then frayed the ends of it after I tied it, to give a fringed texture to it.
TODAY'S BIG NEWS:
It's that time of year... a bittersweet time of year when we find out what will be retiring.  Are you wondering what will be leaving us?

Click here to see the retired list.
Please note --- If you are planning on getting something from the retired list, do not wait.  I cannot begin to tell you how many times I've had customers regret waiting and then, when they tried to order, it was too late.

Crisp Cantaloupe Card and a Treat Bag

I have another card with a matching surprise for you today.   This one is a Sahara Sand and Crisp Cantaloupe combo.  Let's look at the treat holder first.
The holder is made using our French Fry Box Bigz Die.  You simply cut 2 and use only the backs of each one.  The little photo tutorial below shows how to put it all together.
I just added a squiggle of watercolor onto the embossed Thank You on a scrap of watercoloring paper and then, once dry, cut the v-cut using the Hexagon Punch.
The card just showcases the gorgeous background stamp.  I've embossed with white EP onto Crisp Cantaloupe CS.  I used parts of the stamp to decorate the inside of the card and the envelope.
I lightly sponged the doily to blend in to the vintage look of the card.
The flowers are from our Artisan Embellishment Kit.
I masked off part of the inside of the card to stamp the lower border.
Pretty?
