Christmas Treat Holders

Today, I thought I'd share a variety of ideas with you for creating your own treat holders for Christmas.  Some of these could be adapted to use for gift card holders, as well.  Enjoy!
I love our Gold Mini Pizza Boxes.  These would be great for Valentine's Day, too.  I added Wink of Stella to the bells in the wreath.
The plaid DSP is attached with dimensionals, so you can get a fun look with the tree behind it.  Believe it or not I stamped the tree through the punched opening in the DSP, so I could get the right alignment.
The bow and the text pieces are attached with dimensionals.
If you like these little boxes, how about a stack of them?
I left the ribbon long ... and gorgeous!!!
Ribbons ...
These gorgeous ribbons add so much to the projects.  I've used our beautiful Real Red Ruched ribbon and our Shaded Spruce/Gold ribbon.  You can sometimes get away with mixing the colors a bit and they still work ... such as the Real Red ribbon with the Cherry Cobbler DSP.  It still works.
I love how you can create a dimensional tree with our Pine Tree punch.
The white Mini Pizza Boxes are still available, too.  It's fun to create an entire gift set.  By the way, one Rocher Chocolate fits perfectly in our little Mini Curvy Keepsakes box:)

What's inside?

We had a wonderful time at our Scraps and Prayers class Monday night.  I love this group!  You saw the outside of our cute little mini egg cartons.  Would you like to see what we put inside them?
These little chocolates fit perfectly.  Most all of the Mini Egg Cartons that I've seen did not spritz the inside of the box but left it plain white.  I thought it needed color:)
Here, again, is the front of my decorated mini egg carton.
I've made a bunch of these, in several colors, so I'll enjoy getting to share some fun treats with friends.
Here are some other ideas for what you could put inside:

decorative eggs - whatever you'd like to make
decorative robin's eggs and some nesting materials
plastic eggs with treats inside
jelly beans and Easter grass
wooden eggs, painted
paper mache eggs
tiny little succulents, in potting soil
little Easter chicks (decorative)
Peeps
money:)

What else can you suggest to put inside?

Tic Tac, Anyone?

How about a Tic Tac or two?  This is my last treat holder to share with you ... I think ... at least, for this year:)  I made quite a few of these because the little penguin is just so, so cute!
I made a card, too, inspired by my treat holders.
After all the many, many treats I've shared this year, these are the only ones of which I still have a few left.  I thought they'd make good January treats, too.

Petite Cafe Treat Bags

I keep mentioning that I've been trying to use up my 'stash' of various items, instead of hoarding them.  Today's treat bag is actually one that I keep using up and ordering more.  It's the Petite Cafe Treat Bag and it's good for lots and lots of projects.  I really like using it with fun tags and some sort of clip at the top.  The clips are purely decorative, as the bag rolls down and closes on it's own.

Matchbook Snowman Treats

As with my previous post, I made lots of these treats to share, too.  They turned out pretty cute, using our little snowman.  Are you rested up from Christmas?  I'm fighting a nasty cold, resting, and doing a bit of stamping.  I just can't let my stamps get dusty:)

Bunches of Box Card Treats

Happy Boxing Day!  I thought this would be a good day to share my 'box cards' with you.  I thank Julie Davison for this idea.  As you can see, I made a bunch of these and have enjoyed sharing them throughout the holiday season.  I gave them to my Christmas Retreat participants and to lots of friends and special recipients.  It is so much fun to spread the joy.  During this week, I'll be sharing several other fun treat ideas with you that I created to share during the holiday season.  Enjoy!

The drawer holds some fun treats!
So... it's a box! ... it's a card! ... all in one!  It's a box card:)

Crisp Cantaloupe Card and a Treat Bag

I have another card with a matching surprise for you today.   This one is a Sahara Sand and Crisp Cantaloupe combo.  Let's look at the treat holder first.
The holder is made using our French Fry Box Bigz Die.  You simply cut 2 and use only the backs of each one.  The little photo tutorial below shows how to put it all together.
I just added a squiggle of watercolor onto the embossed Thank You on a scrap of watercoloring paper and then, once dry, cut the v-cut using the Hexagon Punch.
The card just showcases the gorgeous background stamp.  I've embossed with white EP onto Crisp Cantaloupe CS.  I used parts of the stamp to decorate the inside of the card and the envelope.
I lightly sponged the doily to blend in to the vintage look of the card.
The flowers are from our Artisan Embellishment Kit.
I masked off part of the inside of the card to stamp the lower border.
Pretty?

One of the best parts of being a paper crafter...

Let's take a break from my Styles of Scrapbooking series today and share a little more Christmas cheer.  One of the best parts of being a paper crafter is that you get to make 'just a little something' gifts to give to friends.  I made a bunch of these and quickly took a photo of the last one before I gave it to a friend yesterday.
I packaged each one in a larger cello bag after I added the treats, so nothing would fall out.  In my previous post, I shared how to use kits for scrapbooking.  This box is made from a kit, too.  It's our Gratitude for Days kit.  I still have more pieces left from the kit.  What else shall I make?

My Christmas Retreat Projects

In today's post, I'd like to share my Christmas Retreat projects with you.  They're all done with lots of Cherry Cobbler... a wonderful color for Christmas.
I've kept the calendar simple, so there's room to add a photo or two.
Our Fry Box Die makes a fun and easy project to hold treats.
This is one of our tiny gift boxes.  I'm using it as an ornament, but it could easily hold a surprise gift inside, too.
This treat holder is a favorite of mine.  It's easy to cut, score and put together.
Here are all the projects again:
