Textured Map Card

Have you ever tried embossing Designer Series Papers (DSP)?  Dry embossing can add an entire additional element of texture to your card. I used our Old World Paper 3D embossing folder to add texture to the 'map' on this DSP.  I love the look.  I used a second embossing folder (Tasteful Textile) for the layer behind the 'map' layer.  I love how the black layers compliment the Cinnamon Cider layers. The text (from Beautiful World stamps) is just perfect.  The 'map' layer and the circle layers are attached with dimensionals.  All in all, this is a pretty easy card that shows off a lot of elegance, especially with the foil lines in the DSP.

Pink and Gray Peony Card

I love a soft pink with gray color story for a card.  This one features a 3D peony and DSP from our Peony Garden Suite. I used our new Greenery embossing folder for the banner piece, which was cut into the v-shape using our Triple Banner Punch.  The 3D peony was surprisingly easy ... and fun ... to put together.  I lightly sponged the edges.

'World of Good' Globe Card

My husband and I love old globes.  I almost swoon over the giant, floor model globes you see in some of the movies.  We don't have any that grand.  Today's card is a tribute to our love of globes and it is gorgeous - thanks to all the wonderful products in our World of Good Suite.  Using one of our new In Colors, Cinnamon Cider, just completes the look.  We made card at one of my June classes.

Forever Greenery Gift Set
