Halloween Was A Great Day!

With toddlers, you never know quite what to expect.  Joey had talked for weeks about being a pirate for Halloween ... right up until two weeks before when he switched to wanting to be Cookie Monster.  Every day for two weeks, he talked about being Cookie Monster.  So ... yesterday, who shows up at my house?  Buzz Lightyear, of course.  Love my little guy!
We had a wonderful day yesterday.  Joey came away from the bank with 12 candy treats in his bag, got McDonald's for lunch, watched me start the carving on his big pumpkin (saved the rest for the older boys to do), had a party at school and got to see his pumpkin lit up after he woke up from his nap.  The pumpkin was all carved when he woke up because I supervised Ben and Aaron doing it all while he slept.  They did a great job.  Aaron drew the face, Ben carved one eye and the mouth, Aaron carved the other eye and the nose, we all helped clean it up, and it was fun for everyone.

Last night, I was absolutely charmed by the cutest Trick or Treaters I've ever seen.  They were all so cute, so polite, and obviously so full of the joy of the moment.  It made my heart happy.

I'm still working away in my studio on the Christmas Countdown Project Kit and my current Paper Pumpkin Christmas cards ... didn't get much studio time yesterday:)
