Lovely Inside And Out ... TT Two Ways, Part Two

Tranquil Tide is one of those mysterious colors that changes it's hue depending on what you choose for your color story.  Blues and greens have a fun and totally different effect on Tranquil Tide.  Here's my last card to share with you.

Look closely in the photo below and you can see that I spritzed some shimmer onto the circle piece.  I do love that shimmer:)

Here again are both cards.

Lovely Inside And Out ... TT Two Ways, Part One

Well, I had my Fresh Fig cards post before I meant for them to post, so I might as well go ahead with my Tranquil Tide cards.  I actually made all these cards nearly a year ago and I had so many to post that they've had to wait patiently for a long time.  Even though most of these products have retired, I hear from customers all the time that they still want ideas for using products that they've kept.  Good point!
I'm going to post both Tranquil Tide cards today, so we can finish our little series and move on to a new project I'm excited to share with you.  It's all good.

Lovely Inside And Out ... FF Two Ways, Part One

I'll be sharing both Fresh Fig cards today, as we move closer to some new fun.  As I said before, it's all good:)

And here's the last card in my little series.  I hope you've enjoyed it all.  I like to share retired products every once in a while, because many of you still have them.  Enjoy!

And here are both Fresh Fig cards.  The one on the right is my favorite:)

Lovely Inside And Out ... LLT Two Ways, Part One

This is a really exciting day.  Our Annual Catalog for 2018-2019 goes live today.  As always, it's a great one.  In planning ahead for my June 24 Open House New Catalog Party, I have spent a lot of time trying to decide which new stamp set will be my favorite.  So far, it's a 3-way tie:)  Even though I'm still struggling to keep up with blog posts on a daily basis, I've been busy.  I've been planning for upcoming classes, including my Brusho classes and Stampin' Blends classes (more on these very soon), as well as getting ready for my Open House.  Any info you need to know will continue to be posted here on my blog.  My Physical Therapists have extended my Physical Therapy through the entire month of June, so I hope to spend my time recovering from all my surgeries and working in my studio.

Fresh Florals and In Colors, Card Four ... and Card Five

Here we go with Card Four ... and Card Five.  It's time to share them all and then move on to even more fun.  Card Four is done with Fresh Fig CS and Card Five is done with Tranquil Tide CS.  Now that I've reviewed all of the five In Colors that will be around yet for one more year, I'm happy to keep them.  I will mourn the loss of Dapper Denim but, as usual, along will come another color to steal my heart.

Here is my Tranquil Tide version of my design.

Here are all the cards together:

Fresh Florals and In Colors, Card Two

Hello there!  I'm back to blogging, following my knee replacement surgery.  I'm doing intense physical therapy and trying to keep ahead of the pain.  So, let's celebrate my progress with a card in one of my super favorite colors --- Lemon Lime Twist.

Fresh Florals and In Colors, Card One

I liked our Fresh Florals DSP so much that I made one in each of our 5 In Colors ... the ones that are not retiring yet.  For today, here's my card in Berry Burst.  Enjoy!

I added a little DSP to the front and the back of the envelope and a die cut heart to the inside of my card.

Look closely to see the detailed scoring on parts of the front of the card.

How About Some Little Hugs Today?

After a crazy day yesterday, I felt like we could use some hugs today.  Aaron (my 9 year old grandson) scared me half to death with a horrible asthma attack ... on top of sitting for my 3 boys.  It took a lot of treatments and he finally got some relief.  He then fell into an exhausted sleep.

After they all left and we ate dinner, we went off on some errands, including a long list for Target.  I got home with only 2 things I forgot to get.  That's not too bad, I guess.  So, you see, we need some hugs.

I saw this darling little card on an On Stage video from one of our Stampin' Up! events.  It was so nice to be able to enjoy it, since I couldn't actually attend the event.  I fell in love with this darling little 4 X 4" card.

It starts out as an 8" square.  You divide it into 4 equal sections.  After removing one of the sections, you then turn it into a little card that opens up a little flap to reveal a surprise section hidden behind it.  I love it!

This card makes good creative use of some of our new DSP, as well as several of our thinlits.  I have good news, too.  If you'd love to make this card with me, it's one of our cards for my July Saturday Stampers class!  It's on July 15.

So, enjoy your hugs and have a beautiful day.
