Speaking of Using a Kit in a New Way...

In my last post, I showed one of two little albums that I made using a kit designed for an entirely different purpose.  Today, I have another kit... another idea.  Here's the little treat bag that we'll be making at my Holiday Stampin' Party / Open House (Sept. 7 + Sept. 8).

The kit is called Real Red Goodie Gear Simply Created Kit.  It comes with cute little cello bags, tags (all cut and ready to go), little white strips that are ready to stamp and use on the tags, and tape-like stickers to decorate the tags.  You peel off however much of the tape-like strips that you want to decorate the tags and then trim them off as needed.  The kit calls them stickers, but they remind me of tape which got me thinking about Washi Tape and using it to decorate a tag... or a card.  So, I used some of it to decorate a card.
I used it on the envelope, as well and actually put one of the tags on the card.  It's a super simple card.  I just wanted to play with decorating it to coordinate with the tag.
It turned out bright and cheerful and I still have plenty of the strips and tags left to make more goodie bags.   My card base is Bermuda Bay.  What do you think?
